You stared at the six zombies and Knight with your bloodshot eyes, growling like a mad dog.
The scent of familiarity from the six zombies and Knight caused your glare to turn over towards Dekapan and Dayon.
“Wait, (Y/N), it’s us!” Dayon yelled, worryingly.
“It is no use, Dayon,” Dekapan proclaimed, frightened yet composed. “(Y/N) is already in zombie mode.”
You inched your way closer towards the two scared scientists.
Suddenly, the six zombies and Knight blocked your path towards them. They stood there, sluggish yet determined.
“Move it,” you growled, demonically. Your teeth were sharp and your nails were spiked, ready to attack at any moment.
“(Y/N), please stop,” Oso mumbled, zombishly.
The sound of his voice caused you to snap out of your wild state of rage. Your teeth and nails were no longer sharp and your eyes returned to their normal color.
“Now, I know that what I am seeing is true,” Dekapan whispered, composed.
Dayon nodded in agreement after hearing Dekapan’s statement.
“What…happened?” you asked, tiredly. Your body felt drained as your eyes shut and fell into an unconscious state.
Knight immediately caught you from your fall, strength and fur cushioned your tumble.
“(Y/N)...okay?” Ichi asked, worriedly.
“Nothing to worry about, resting will help (Y/N) in no time,” Dekapan reassured.
“Please help get the door and windows boarded, yon,” Dayon instructed, smiling like usual.
Jyushi and Kara nodded in agreement, walking towards Dayon with the boards.
“Now, return (Y/N) to the resting room,” Dekapan instructed while pointing his finger directly at the previous room you stayed in.
Knight along with Todo and Choro, heading towards the resting room.
Ichi and Oso were the only zombies left without a task. That was until Dekapan approached them with a clipboard in his hands.
They both stared at him with snugglish and questionable looks on their faces.
“These are the results that I wanted to tell (Y/N),” Dekapan confirmed, coincidentally yet sadly. He sounded sure but it was the confidence of bad news.
“What…wrong?” Ichi questioned, groaning zombish.
Dekapan looked over the paper on the clipboard and proclaimed, “The results do say that (Y/N)’s blood has been mixed with the six of your zombies’ DNA. This part is easier explained if I perform more tests on the blood samples, so we will discuss more about it later.”
Oso and Ichi helped in agreement.
“Now, you two can guard the resting room and notify me when (Y/N) regains consciousness,” Dekapan instructed before leaving towards the scientific- looking table.
Oso walked towards the resting door, followed by Ichi behind him.
They peek their heads into the resting room and see that you were sleeping on the bed, while Knight, Todo and Choro were waiting for you to awaken.
“Oso…” Ichi called to him, groaning like usual.
“It…alright,” Oso claimed, calmly. He turned towards Ichi for a moment before looking back at you, nodding his head.
Meanwhile, Dekapan performed the blood fusion once more. He mixed the six zombies’ blood samples and discovered that they did nothing to counteract each other. Instead, your blood mixed with the six of them and caused a mutual blood bond as before.
“What do you have, yon?” Dayon asked, curiously. He walked over and stared at Dekapan.
“It is not a cure, but (Y/N)’s blood has a beneficial advantage to the zombie virus now,” Dekapan concluded, composedly.
“How is that possible?”
“I don’t understand it myself, but it seems like it has something to do with the bond between all of them,” Dekapan summarized, firmly.
