You were getting hungry and the grumble from your stomach said it all. The six zombies look at your direction.

Oso asked,"....hungry..."

You nodded then said,"but it's nothing too urgent." The six zombies looked at each other and then nodded.

They all went in different directions throughout the forest. You couldn't even get a word out to them because they left really fast.

It really surprised you.

What are those zombies doing?

You kept walking, trying to look for food. You knew those six zombies would return to you no matter where you went.

Then Ichi came back and you noticed. You questioned,"what is it?"

"......" Then he handed you a dead mouse. You were surprised but it's something, no need to complain.

You said,"well it's something. Thank you, Ichi."

You noticed that he blushed but was it your imagination.

He is dead but he blushed like he is living. You thought to yourself.

You shrug it off because anything could happen at this point. When Ichi left to find more food, suddenly something grabbed you by your arm and covered your mouth.

A person?!

You knew too well it wasn't a zombie or the six. The guy was full human, no bites..not yet.

You looked around for a weapon as he spoke," no one will hear you anyways. There's only dead around here."

You bit his hand roughly and he screamed in pain. He let go of you and then you punched him to the ground.

He was knocked out, you walked away leaving him for the dead.

Then Kara ran to you and said," hurt....."

You realized he was asking if you were hurt or not. You answered," no, no. I'm fine, don't worry."

They all came back due to the man scream and they looked somewhat concerned.

Todomatsu said,"....dangerous..guy...."

You spoke," yeah, some people are like that sometimes."

Then Jyushi handed you a dead rat and you smiled. You said while taking the dead rat,"thank you, Jyushi."

You almost forgot you were hungry, feeling safe with the six zombie. You created a fire to cook what they found for you.

After you ate, you were already full and save the rest of it for later.

As the night was coming and the sun going to sleep soon, you were getting a bit tired.

You spoke to yourself quietly," I need to rest somewhere...but where.."

The open forest was too dangerous but there were no buildings in range to you.

You sighed then the six noticed it and Choro asked," wrong...."

You looked at him and answered," I'm fine just a little tired..."

Then Kara took off his jacket well he try to but he still manage it. He hands it to you while saying,"here.....you.."

You asked,"are you sure?"

He nodded as you asked it then Ichi gives you his hat. You thanked him and he blushed softly.

You noticed it this time.

Do they have...emotions?..are they alive?..then I wouldn't mind it..

You didn't question it, you had a jacket and hat maybe good use for a blanket and pillow.

Then Choro pointed at a tree that was tall and huge, you questioned," you want me to sleep there?"

Choro nodded and you noticed Todo and Jyushi getting it set up for you already.

You smiled then Oso spoke,"protect...you..sle..ep.."

You looked at him and said," so you'll all protect me while I sleep, thank you."

As you laid on the ground with the jacket and hat as blanket and pillow, you looked at the six zombies who were all sitting in a circle.

They were looking around for anything that will try to hurt you, you smiled as you knew you could fall asleep peacefully with them around.

You felt a warmth in your heart as you fell asleep under the night sky and protection of the six zombies.
