You and your companions followed behind Dekapan and Dayon’s motorcycle slowly approaching the somewhat hidden old building covered in vines, bushes and trees.
“Nature made itself at home with your building there”, you observed and in response, Dekapan and Dayon laughed then Dekapan assured, “The building may look rotten but the truth is always inside.”
The motorcycle stopped next to the double metal door that was covered behind a fence of bushes, Dayon jumped off the cycle and moved the fence of bushes to the side then opened the metal door.
“Please step inside, (Y/N)”, Dekapan instructed as you, Knight and the six zombie stepped into a laboratory full of different machines and chemicals on the table then the two scientists joined you inside the building.
Dayon closed the metal door behind him while Dekapan suggested, “You can rest in the guest room that we have down the halls”, he pointed in the direction of a hallway that had doors to different rooms.
“What would you be working on?”, you questioned while noticing that Dayon was getting some test tubes and beakers from the shelf and pulling them on the lab table, Dekapan explained, “We are working on the cure for the virus so please rest and we will ask for your assistance from time to time.”
“Alright, I will rest with my friends then”, you walked down the hallway to the guest room that Dekapan pointed out and you opened the door to reveal a plain colored room with a single bed, table with a chair, and a boarded window.
Knight and the six zombies entered the room from behind you then you closed the door behind them, you walked over to the bed and sat down onto it with an exhausted sigh, “I had no idea that a bed like this still exists in the world now.”
You looked towards Knight then at the six zombies as you suggested, “You all can explore the building if you are bored”, after saying that, your body felt sluggish and you laid on the bed while Knight jumped onto the bed.
Knight laid down beside you and he closed his eyes, falling into a deep slumber as your eyes looked at him then shifted to the six zombies and a smile spread across your lips, “I know you will protect me and Knight in sleep.”
It seems that they understood as your eyes caught them nodding their heads slightly in a bow, then you laid your head down on the pillow provided and fell into slumber with Knight.
Ichi covered you and Knight with a single sheet of blanket but he took off his jacket, covering only you with it to make sure that you were perfectly warm then Oso groaned some mumble words.
The others nodded their heads and they began to do whatever Oso said to them, Jyushi pushed the single chair that was next to the table towards the bed with you and Knight then he sat down onto it.
He guarded you while sitting on the chair and Ichi was near the doorway as the others went to check what Dekapan and Dayon were doing around their lab, so Oso led the way towards the two scientists.
Dekapan was mixing chemical substances together in the beaker while Dayon grabbed anything on the numerous shelves around the lab, Kara grabbed a chemical from the test tubes holder but Dayon immediately grabbed it while instructing, “Don’t touch it, yon.”
Kara looked confused but understood with a groan and walking slowly away in a direction, then Todo stared at the flame that was heating and boiling the liquid substance on a desk.
Dekapan approached Todo and chuckled, “This helps us complete the heating process in the chemicals”, Todo groaned in understanding then Dekapan walked over to a shelf to grab a basket full of doctor tools.
