Amelia's POV:

Seven weeks.

Why?! This is horrible!

This  little jerk has been bringing me around for seven weeks trying to find me my true love.  Nothing.  Absolutely nothing.

Hopefully I haven't missed out on anything about Maria and Amy.  Prom should be in only a day or two.  I am still jealous...of course I ain't...sigh, I am.  But, what I've seen, Maria looks happy, so at least she's happy.

I didn't notice that Eros was actually starring at me, trying to get my attention.  We are at a Café.  I'm eating a powered doughnut,  with a hot chocolate.  The spring is coming, but it's still cold.  There's still small snow patches around here and there.  The iceicles small compared to their older size.  The drips of water from the fallen ice in the trees.  The air still dry, the sun poking through the clouds.  With a nice warm sweater, and some hot chocolate, it's a perfect day.

"Sorry...pardon?" I say, embarassed I wasn't listening.

He was only in his cloth I call a bedsheet.  How he's in only his bedsheet? I'm not sure.  He's a God, you can never know what's going through their brains.

He smiles kindly and warmly at me.  "I was saying how we should see about looking around more."

As soon as I was about to talk, I saw a beautiful woman shimmer from midair glaring down at Eros as he stiffens and looks over smiling.

"Hey my beautiful Psyche!" He yelps, standing up.

"What are you doing with her?"  The woman named Psyche asks, now glaring at me.

I gulp slightly.  Her gaze is so harsh, I was scared to breathe.

After a moment i managed.  "Ma'am, he was only helping me.  I lost my girlfriend and he's trying to mend my heart, but, it's not going too well.  I assure you nothings happening between us.  If he's your boyfriend or something, then he's all yours.  I don't like guys anyway." I lie.  I'm actually bisexual, just don't like to admit it.

She stares at me for a long time, like she's reading my mind.  Which, if she's related to Eros or knows him, she's probably a goddess and is.

Her face softens after awhile and nods, going besides me and sitting besides me.  "It's okay dear, I can tell you're not lieing.  If you want help finding love, well, you gotta find it yourself."

I look at her a little confused.

She laughs softly, putting a hand on my shoulder.  "Amelia, true love is very rare.  For example, my love, Eros, I still am very sorry I broke his promise.  His mother Aphrodite, (people don't know if Aphrodite is his actual mother or not, so if you see something diffrent, i know.) Made me do a few things;  first was get beat, then clean up grain,  all diffrent things in the kitchen, thease nice ants helped me.  Second was  some golden wool from her golden wooled sheep.  Third task was to get water from the river Styx, way in the mountains.  The last thing, was to bring Aphrodite her beauty cream.  I was selfish and tried to use it, even though it wasn't beauty cream.  It almost liked me. It was pure Stygian sleep.  But all the gods decided to make me Immortal.  I am now the goddess of the human soul.  I live with my daughter, Hedone, and my husband, Eros." She looks up at Eros and smiles dreamily at him.

Eros smiles back at her. "And till this day, you're still the boss."

Payche laughs looking back at me.  "See dear? You can only find true love once, so, don't let it go easily."

I stare at her for a moment and nod. Standing up, she let go of my shoulder.  "Okay, I should try to go back to Maria.  No, I need to go back to her.  She's my true love!" I yell as I run back to my house, Payche and Eros smiling at me as I run away.
