Amy's POV:

Me and Owen went back to my house after awhile,  I went inside and I hear something coming from Maria's and Amelia's room.  I glance inside because the door was a creak open. I glance inside  seeing Amelia's face buried in Maria's and Maria holding her tightly.  Maria looks misty-eyed while I hear Amelia's soft quiet sobs from Maria's shirt.

I wince silently.  What if something happened and I hurt Amelia?  But, why is she crying? I think to myself as I stare at Amelia through the crack.

She kept sobbing quietly.  After a moment I hear her whisper.  "Pl-please Maria,  what do I do?  I don't wanna lose you again   I can't, I just can't lose you again."  She starts sobbing more.

Maria holds her tighter.  "Shhhh,  it's not until three more days.  We still have time to figure this out."

Three days? I thought.  For what?  Also what does Amelia mean by she can't leave?  My eyes widen after a moment.

I couldn't help myself.  I walk inside.  Maria turns her head to face me while Amelia gasps in shock when she hears footsteps.  Amelia turns her head,  but when she sees me,  she calms down even though tears keep streaking down her cheeks.

"Amy,  what are you doing still up?"  Amelia says quietly as she attempts to wipe her tears.

"I couldn't fall asleep."  I lie,  but I know Amelia can't tell,  but Maria gives me a weary look.  "What's wrong Amelia?"  I ask.  "Why are you crying? Also, what do you mean by three days?"  I was asking to make sure what what I thought was wrong.  I was hoping to myself, to a god, to a savior, to anyone  to hope that my thought of Amelia having to leave again was not true.

Amelia looks from me to Maria.  Maria gives her the slightest nod,  Amelia turning back to look at me.  "I-I have to leave again.  I only have three days."

I shake my head slightly.  "No no no, this can't happen.  We still need to put Josh with his followers behind bars."

Also.  I thought in my head.  I can't let your happiness get destroyed again.

"We need a plan."  Maria says.

Her voice was stern,  so confident,  it made me snap back to reality.

"Yes."  I agree.  "We do,  but, how do we find Josh again?  He's not with his friends at the abandoned building we got you." I tell Maria

"I got it."  Amelia says..  "Amy,  when we were driving,  we were following that car,  remember?"

"Yes, I remember,  what does the car have to do with this?"  I wonder.

"The driver.  They took the car.  The car was gone when we went back to get josh."  She says impatiently.

"Yeah...so?"  I say.  She sighs impatiently.   She knows I'm always horrible at these guessing games,  and guessing to the look on Maria's face, she is too.

"I was able to see the car."  She says flatly.

"Okay,  that's good."  I say.

She rolls her eyes.  "Amy,  don't you see where I'm getting at?  I saw the cars licence plate!"

My eyes widen,  so does Maria's.

"We can go to a place--"  i start.

"No"  Amelia scolds.  "No, María,  you have the app,  can I barrow your phone?"

Maria grabs her phone without hesation,  giving her phone to Amelia,  she sits up,  sets Amelia in her lap, and wraps her arms around Amelia's waist.   Kissing her cheek softly as she peers over Amelia's shoulder at the phone.

I stare in amazement as Amelia types in the license plate number she memorized.

"Found it."  She says after a minute.  "He's at a bar about forty minutes from here."

"Let's go."  Me, and Maria say in sync.

We all get in the car.  Maria's in driver's seat, Amelia's in passengers,  and I'm in back.

Amelia brought hr cane with her, but I don't know why.

We drive for about five minutes when Maria slams on the breaks because she almost hit someone.

"Owen!*  I yelp.  I quickly get out of the car and go over to the stunned Owen.

"What are you doing out here?"  I ask him.  "I thought you were going home?"

"I couldn't see."  He says.

I stare at him, holding his wrist.  We're out in a deserted place,  so there's no traffic.

I just think for a moment.  After a moments'  thinking,  I pull him to the backseat of the car and open the door for him.  "Get in."

He obeys and gets inside.   I follow and shut the door while buckling.  "Go."  I order to Maria who looks mystified as to why I just let a stranger in the car.

Amelia stares at Owen with disbelief.  "Owen.."

Maria gives Amelia a  sideways glance before putting her eyes back on the road.  "This have better not been your ex or me and him are gonna have some  problems."

Owen gulps and Amelia just shakes her head while hitting Maria's arm gently.  "Maria, of course he's not my ex,  he's always been just a friend of mine and Amy's."

"Mhm."  She says.

"Maria!"  Amelia groans.

"Owen."  I look at Owen.  "Are you okay?"

"Yes."  He says.

"Is he staying with us or...?" Maria starts.

"Yes he is."  I say.  "If Amelia only has three more days then we wanna keep our eyes on the main thing;  getting Josh and getting justice for everyone who's had to deal with him and so Amelia can go back in peace."

Maria stays silent,  so does Amelia.  Owen looks completely lost on what we were talking about, but he stays quiet.

I stare out the window.    Minutes passed with just silence between us all.  Like I said,  we had to keep moving,  if we didn't, Josh could easily drive from the bar further out of town, or even, out of the state.  We only have just three days,  and so,  if we're gonna get josh, then we gotta only focus on him.

"Rest."  Maria's voice broke into the silence.  " I know I won't be able to drive for three days on end and I'll be trusting one of you--definitely not you 'Owen'--and I'm gonna trust you to drive us further as we go find Josh."

I nod as I lay my head on the side of the car.  I know Amelia's not gonna rest since she's gonna have two reasons.  One to help make sure Maria stays on track.  And two,  this might be the last three days Amelia will ever be able to see any of us,  especially Maria.

On that though,  my eyes become heavy as I gaze at the sun rising.   I don't remember when,  but slowly, my eyes closed, and I fell asleep.
