Just your luck wasn't it, both your phones managed to die at the same  time meaning neither of you could call an Uber therefore yous had to  walk back to your house. It was a bloody long walk too, not only was it  freezing, it had also started snowing which was just great as you had no  coat, wearing plain jeans and a T-shirt, and Nike Air Force 1s which  were gripless and had no protection against the Icy ground, Dom was  wearing the same sort of clothing, also having no coat. Yous were on  your way back from a restaurant in town for your midweek date, when your  phones decided to give up on you and because it was so late at night,  nowhere was open and you couldn't find a taxi rank, so basically yous  had no other option than to trek the many miles back to your Liverpool  home. At the end of your day it was your own fault for one, not charging  your phone before you came out, and two, not bringing a coat, and you  were kicking yourself now wishing you had, I mean come on it's the  middle of winter what did yous expect the weather to be like 😂?

It  got to mile five of your journey back and all you wanted was to be  home, stick on the heating and get your fluffy pyjamas on and snuggle up  on the sofa with a cuppa whilst you watched the latest ep of Corrie on  ITV. The snow also began to thicken and lay on the ground and your legs  started to give way, with Dom being a footballer he could run never mind  walk for miles, but you, you could bearly make ten steps till you were  stopping out of breath and started asking him for a piggyback, it's not  like you were unfit or anything but you had just eaten the biggest meal  of you life prior to this, so your food baby was weighing you down (well  that was your excuse anyways). "We nearly homeee yet" you whinged,  still trying to get carried by your boyfriend, wrapping your arms around  his waist and flirting a bit, literally doing anything to make him give  into you, but he simply peeled your arms away, secretly loving how  clingy you were, telling you it wasn't far to go...of course he was  eventually gonna give into you, but he couldn't waste the chance to  tease you a bit first. "Awe does my baby need me to carry her" he said  with a fake pout as you nodded, giving him the best puppy eyes ever, Dom  not getting the chance to reply as you suddenly slipped, falling  straight on your arse onto fresh ice, causing your back to kill with  pain. Being the caring person he is, Dom's eyes widened as he rushed and  grabbed you carefully and helped you to your feet before blurting out a  load of questions, the panic in his voice was clear. He pulled you into  a hug as you whiched in pain, burying your head into his chest trying  to lose the throbbing feeling in your lower back, as he calmed you by  slowly rubbing a hand over your back before stroking your hair and  placing a light kiss on your forehead. After most of the pain passed,  you stared up at your boyfriend before giving him a peck on the lips as a  thank you for helping you, "you should get some shoes with better  grips" he spoke as you laughed, agreeing, "right let's get home then, my  bollocks are like ice" he continued, "bet they are" you replied giving  him a wink as he smirked, knowing the perfect way to warm them up when  you got home.

"So...seeing as I'm injured, do I get a piggyback  now?" you grinned and before you knew it, you were on Dom's back having  the time of your life as he carried you the few miles home ❤️
