Short and Sweet - Kieran Tierney

Your heat stopped and you froze in your step as your brows crinkled in confusion, thinking you heard a faint whisper of "marry me" come from behind you. It wasn't until you heard your name with the words of "Mrs Tierney" following for a second time, that you turned around to find Kieran down on one knee, his hazel eyes staring deeply into your yours as he wore the biggest smile across his face. To say you were surprised was an understatement, it felt too surreal to actually be happening. As you wiped at the few tears that were pricking your eyes and stumbling over your words, trying to scramle your brain for what to say next, the shock completely took over your body, not fully taking in what was going on, just bloody happy that your boyfriend of three years wanted more, that he wanted to make you his wife. Kieran's grin grew bigger as he opened the petite box that had the most gorgeous diamond ring nestled inside it, leaving you utterly and truly speechless as you glanced towards the jewel, gaining butterflies knowing it was soon to be yours as well as the name of 'Mrs Tierney'.

"You're- you're messing right?" You asked in disbelief, letting out a nervous giggle, still processing just what was actually going on as your boyfriend shook his head before letting out a laugh himself and clearing his throat. "I've never been more serious about something ever" he simply replied, he voice trembling with nerves, which you just found the cutest, "Yes, yes, yes, of course I'll marry you!" you nodded, squealing in response, as he let out a deep sigh of relief before he took the ring from the box and gently placed it on your delicate finger. Instantly wrapping your arms around his neck, he gripped your waist, lifting you up and hooking his hands under your thighs as you leaned in for a soft but passionate kiss that seemed to last forever, feeling like you were in your own little world with the both of you not wanting to pull away. Your smiles were known as the two of you moved your mouths in sync, still not believing what's just happened and the fact you were now a wife to be, this really was a dream come true to you, being engaged to the love of your life. After a few minutes of enjoying the taste of one another's lips, you both pulled away to catch a breath, resting your foreheads together as that warming smile of his appeared once again, "I love you fiancée", his words doing wonders to your body, already loving the feeling of being engaged. "What did you think, did I do a good job with the not going overboard with it and all" he asked as you moved closer to his before whispering, "it was perfect, short and sweet just like you" you giggled giving away a wink in which he laughed at before leaning in for another magical kiss. ❤️
