Does that mean i'm gonna be a dad? - Ben Chilwell

You had no idea what he would think, would he be happy, sad, angry?, you honestly couldn't predict his reaction. The two of you, about to bring a  baby into the world aged 24 when yous were still so young, still had things to do together, holidays abroad, nights out partying whenever you fancied, seeing your friends, working full time at your dream job, were you really ready to give that all up?

You'd been feeling quite ill for the last week and a half and thought it was just a stomach bug or food poisoning until your friend mentioned pregnancy and then it all came back, the night of his birthday. You both could just about remember that night, it was mostly a blur with all the tequila and vodka shots yous downed, all you know is you definitely did not play it safe that night and use protection. You stood in your dining room, one hand holding all three pregnancy tests you took and the other cuddling your belly, of course with no bump as it was still early days, but just the feeling of knowing you're growing a human, yeah an actual human inside you was unimaginable. You had always wanted and planned on having kids in your life, just not this young, and all you were hoping was Ben would be somewhat happy to be a dad.

Obviously, you were scared, not only about telling him, but because you had absolutely no idea on how to raise your own child, yes you used to help look after your younger siblings, but that was never full time and your Mam was always there,  and now it was all yours and Ben's responsibility. However, on the other hand, you couldn't wait for the full parent experience, watching your baby as they took their first steps, giving them their first bath,  hearing their first words, taking them to see their first Chelsea match to see their daddy play, but most of all knowing you and Ben created him or her and they would be the perfect mix of you both.

It was around 6ish and you knew Ben would be on his way home from training and you were completely shitting yourself about telling him, still clueless of his reaction. Suddenly you heard the front door open and the footsteps of Ben in the corridor, "Hunny I'm homeeee" you heard him echo through the head as you giggled and happy he was in a good mood, he needed to be to hear this news. "Oh yeah I got us food too," he said as you peeped inside the bag, it was favourite, a triple cheeseburger,  large fries and large coke from McDonald's, god that man knows you so well, the smell lingered in the room as he placed it on the dining table.

"Erm Ben I- I have something to erm- tell you" you spoke,  spluttering out your words, your nerves kicking in, "You ok darling?" he questioned, pulling you into a hug as he rested his head on yours.  "Yeah yeah I'm fine just..." you said as you backed away from him, taking the tests out the pocket of your hoodie, "I'm pregnant" you blurted out,  handing him the tests which showed a plus sign, quickly closing your  eyes not wanting to see his reaction. "Wh- what, oh my god" he excitedly said as his eyes widened, unable to get his words out. "Does that mean  you're happy?" you whispered as you stood twiddling your fingers, not  knowing what to do, "Well, does that mean I'm gonna be a dad?"  He said moving closer to you as you nodded, "Guess that means I'm gonna be a Mam then" you smirked. He picked you up as your legs wrapped around his waist and your arms looped around your neck as he began planting kisses on your tummy as you giggled at the feeling.

"It'll be ok you know, we'll figure it out, parenthood," he said as you hummed in agreement, "can we eat now please I'm starvingggg" you complained,  "oh have the cravings already started he said" he replied pretending to be annoyed, "not even close mate" you laughed back. You believed Ben,  yous would be the best parents, there was no denying that.
