Baby Mount pending - Mason Mount

You were now in the fifth month of your pregnancy and the bump was more than evident, probably about the size of a (rather lopsided) watermelon. The two of you had been wanting to keep the baby to yourselves for as long as possible, just to enjoy the moments of seeing your little bean grow without being in the public eye but as the weeks went by, the bigger you got, which meant it was becoming almost impossible to keep the belly out of view, I mean there was only so many puffy coats and baggy jumpers that could cover it. So you both finally agreed to share the news with everyone, including all your friends and Mason's teammates, via Instagram seeing as it was the easiest way and the word would get around pretty quick. You decided to keep it quite simple, posting a pic of your baby scan, below it reading 'summer 2021' in big letters with the caption of "Baby Mount Pending", Mason doing the same on his ig and because of his large social status and following, the news soon got around. The amount of likes and shares the post got within a matter of minutes was unbelievable, everyone wishing the two of you the best of luck and congratulating you on the newest addition and it really did warm your heart. Oh and let's not mention the hundreds of Dms you were sent from your friends and family, truly shocked at how you managed to keep it a secret for so long, which you found amusing, knowing you clearly did a good job of covering your bump for the last five months. Most of your friends had their suspicions to be fair, mainly down to the fact you didn't have a drink at both christmas and New Year's which wasn't like you at all, you loved a good glass of bubbly, especially for an occasion.

So, overall the announcement couldn't have went any better and after spending the rest of the day replying to the tons of 'congrats' and the 'I had no idea!'s, a sigh of relief more than anything came your way, happy to be able to share the news and excitement with everyone and no longer feel the need to wear the million scarfs to cover you bump. Of course you had the odd comment from the jealous people looking for some attention, but you couldn't have cared less about what they thought, at the the end of the day, you were happy, Mason was happy and your little bun in the oven was happy and that was all that mattered ❤️
