Tommy's eyes widened, looking at the scene in front of him. There, laying on the ground with blood all over, was him and Tubbo. He walked over to them, or tried to, before realizing that the two boys were dead. He looked at him on the ground as people around them frantically pulled out their phones to call ambulances, and the guy driving the car that hit them just looked shocked and scared.
Tommy gulped. He raised his hand to touch Tubbo's body, but it phased right through it with a ghostly mist. The people around him started to move the bodies, trying to give the two CPR, but it was no use.
Tommy and Tubbo were dead.
"Tommy?" A voice said from behind him. He turned abruptly, causing his transparent body to float forward a little. There in front of him was Tubbo, but not Tubbo. Tubbo's body was dead on the road, but Tubbo's spirit was floating behind him, looking scared as hell.
"Tubbo?" He asked, voice shaky and echoey. He tried levitating towards the other, but it was no use. He was stuck in place since he didn't know how to control his movement yet. Tommy frantically reached his arms out in an attempt to get closer to the boy, and Tubbo did the same.
After a bit of struggle, he gave up and sighed. "Are we ghosts?" Tubbo starred as people with police uniforms checked their pulse, soon realizing they were, in fact, dead.
"I- I think?" The words trembled out of his mouth with caution, not wanting to believe it. The two watched as people whispered to each other and the police covered them with a black tarp, hiding them from the people's eyes. Another officer arrested the driver, and he didn't even fight it. He just kept his head down and complied, looking sad and guilty.
"What do we do?" Tommy asked after a while watching. He once again tried to move his body, successfully levitating closer to the boy and giving him a small hug of reassurance. Tubbo sniffed away his ghost tears and shrugged.
The two watched as the officers pulled out their school ID cards and called their parents, asking them to come to the station. Tommy grabbed Tubbo's hand and pulled him towards the police car, phasing through the closed door and sitting on the seat. Tubbo raised an eyebrow.
"I want to be there when they tell our parents."

Tubbo floated behind his mum, finally able to control his movements after a bit of practice at the station. The woman sobbed as she left through the doors, angry at the police for telling her that her son is dead.
Tubbo's dad followed after her, giving her a shoulder to cry on when they hugged. "It'll be alright." The man said, comforting the woman as she frantically wiped away tears, not even caring that her makeup was getting ruined. Tubbo reached a hand out and placed it on her shoulder. The second he made contact, the woman shivered and cuddled closer to her husband.
Tubbo retracted his hand and looked at it, staring at the ground below through his transparent palm. Can I interact with them?
He looked around the parking lot, noticing a man running across it to get to the doors. Tubbo floated over to him and stood in front of the man, waiting. Just when he was about to run into Tubbo, he swiveled around the ghost, not even realizing that he moved out of the way.
The boy watched as the man ran into the building, dropping a few papers along the way. What was that?
For a minute, Tubbo followed him through the halls, trying to understand his ghostly power more, but came to a halt when he saw Tommy sadly looking at his crying parents. He floated over to him and tapped his shoulder.
