Technobraid

      Tommy gently knocked on the door, hoping to wake up the sleep-deprived man inside. Some soft shuffling could be heard from inside the room, then a gentle click as the door unlocked. "What's up?"

      Tommy scanned Techno's figure, taking in the fact that he definitely just woke up. His hair was messy and his clothes were crinkled. "Phil made breakfast. Wanted to know if you wanted some."

      Techno hummed, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, give me a second." He went back into his room, leaving the door open while he grabbed a hairbrush. Tommy stayed standing in the doorway as he watched techno get ready to run the brush through his long pink hair, when he paused. "Do you want to braid it?"

      Tommy smiled and sat on Techno's bed, waiting for Techno to sit as well. Techno sighed, trying to hide the smile forcing its way onto his lips.

      He sat with his back to Tommy, brushing his hair over his shoulders so Tommy could do what he pleased. The boy grinned as he started running the brush through the locks, watching the knots disappear with every stroke. Techno smiled as well, relieved at the feeling of his hair being well-kept.

      Tommy separated the hair into three clumps, loosely folding them over each other until they made a pattern. He held the pin in his mouth until he was ready for it, moving his lips to play with it while he concentrated on the pink hair.

      Techno was looking down at his phone, slightly moving every time Tommy pulled in a certain way. They stayed like that until a clip was in his hair, and Tommy ran his fingers down the braid one last time before standing. "You hungry?"

      Techno took a moment to shift in his place, taking in the feeling of the braid. Usually, he kept his hair neat and tight, but the way Tommy did it felt loose and free. It was a nice change for him.

      Techno smiled tiredly at him. "Yeah." And with that, they went out to the dinner table, being met with two pairs of eyes waiting for them.
