I gripped Riley's hand in my own as I tried to wave at some schoolmates while balancing my binders, trying not to make them fall. I looked at my right. Riley's hair blew in the soft wind as her face hid in the shadows of her body. I brought her hand to my lips and gave her skin a kiss.

"You're so beautiful," I whispered. "You always will be."

"So, you decided to ask her out, huh?" Calum asked as he jogged to catch up beside me. I nodded and looked at Riley again, who was looking at Calum. "That's cute. I'l catch up with you guys soon, yeah?" He gave me a salute and headed back into the school for football practice.

"C'mon, my car's that way," I said as I led Riley to the vehicle. I beat her to the door handle and opened it for her as she let my hand drop to get into the car. I followed suit, walking in front of the care before sitting in the driver's seat. I put the key into the ignition and sped off, wanting to go somewhere secluded and not surrounded by people we knew.

"I want to go home, I'm so tired," Riley said with a yawn. "Plus, my mum wants to meet you." I looked at her and raised an eyebrow before looking back at the road.

"Really? We've been ging out for three hours and you already want me to meet your mum?" Riley chuckled, a bit forced, since she was tired. She grabbed my free hand and played with my fingers.

"I mean, yeah. She knows about you since I'd always go to your house." She blushed. "She just wants to meet you, is all." I nodded and drove the way to her house, a path I've memorized.

As we pulled into her driveway, I only saw one car. "My mum's the only one home," she explained. "My dad comes home a little later." I shrugged and took a deep breath.

"Babe, is it bad that I don't really feel so nervous about meeting them? You talk about them a lot, so it kind of feel like I've met them already. Not that I'm not nervous or anything, just that-"

"Luke, calm down," she said. I lightly laughed in order to surpress my nervousness. "You ready?" I nodded hastily and went outside the car to open her door. Riley leaned upwards and kissed my lips delicately before pulling my hand towards the front door. I can't get enough of her lips. She led me to the front door ad opened her shoulder bag to fetch her house key. Slowly, she opened the door and I followed suit, standing behind her.

"Mum, I'm home!" she shouted. She gestured me to follow her into the kitchen. "Do you want anything to eat or drink?" I shook my head. "Little nervous?"  I nodded.

"How was school?" I heard her mum ask.

"Splended, fantastic, all of the above." I blushed.

"And this is Luke, I assume?" Riley nodded and grabbed my hand before pulling me closer to her mum.

"Hello, ma'am, I'm Luke. It's a pleasure to meet you," I said with a shake voice, offering my shaky hand to her. She took it and squeezed my hand firmly.

"The pleasure is all mine, Luke! I'm Moira, no need to call me Mrs. Cole," she said. I nodded and laughed light-heartedly. "Luke, can I talk to you for a minute?" Riley groaned.

"It's okay, she's your mum," I said and followed Moira.

"I'm well aware of who you are. That's not bad, but just know that Riley has the most fragile heart you will ever see. Luke, I'm telling you, don't break her heart." Moira looked at me with a stern face and I nodded.

"Yes, of course. I won't." She nodded and gave me a warm smile. "Good, now go back to Riley. I'll up upstairs if you two need anything." Moira walked upstairs as I walked back to the kitchen and into the living room, finding Riley sitting on the couch, already looking at me.

"How'd it go? Are you okay?" Riley asked as she got onto her knees on the couch cushions, pulling me by my jacket to pull me close to her. I nodded and leaned down, kissing her forehead.

"I'm okay, your mum's nice." I kissed her forehead again.

"You missed," she said and pointed to her lips. I let out a laugh and leaned down once more to press a small kiss to her lips. She led me around the couch's arm and sat me down next to her. I lifted my hand to brush the loose hairs from her face and leaned towards her to kiss her once more.

Kissing Riley wasn't like kissing any other girl. Unlike everyone else, Riley wasn't rushing anything. Most girls wanted to press their mouths so hard against mine, I wouldn't have any time or space to breathe. Riley was different. She placed her hands around my neck and didn't push her tongue in my mouth. As much as she likes to tell people she's not innocent, she really is. Riley was scared to scoot closer to my lap so I pulled her closer. She kept things slow, something I secretly enjoyed with a girl. Going fast all the time is a turn off.

I pulled away to breathe for a moment before kissing Riley's nose.

"You're so cute," I mumbled. She blushed and hid her face in the crook of my neck.

"Baby," she said in a whisper.

"Are you sleepy?" She nodded.

"Just a little bit. It's been a long and tiring day." I grabbed her waist and place her on my lap before leaning backwards onto the couch, holding Riley as she turned her face towards my chest, rubbing the fabric covering my skin.

"Nap for a little while, babe." I kissed her forehead again as I closed my eyes.
