Chapter 3

I decided not to have Kotoura in the story! Just you!

The next day it was lunch and you were sitting on the school roof for some peace and quiet until Manabe decided to come.

"I've been looking for you. I noticed you weren't in the classroom, so this is where you were."

You quickly started packing your lunch back up, you stood up and started walking fast to get away from him but he called out to you.

"Hey, (L/N)!"

You continued to ignore him and kept walking, Manabe decided to try something. He smiled like a pervert his cheeks got red- 

~IMAGINATION~

(Y/N) was fully naked on the bed, her upper body propped hugging a pillow, while a blanket was covering her lower half body. She turned towards Manabe and sat up blushing.

"Now, don't rush things. Everything starts with a kiss, right?"

(Y/N) reached out towards Manabe to give him a kiss...

~IMAGINATION OVER~

(Y/N) stopped walking and ran towards Manabe with an embarrassed look on her face, she started shooing away his dirty daydream about her.

"What the heck are you thinking about!?"

Manabe turned to (Y/N) with an astonished look on his face, "You really can read people's minds. Is it ESP?"

"Yes, it is. You get it now?-" (Y/N) turned away, her embarrassed facial expression turned into a very depressed one. "If you don't want me to read anything else, don't come near me again."

Manabe had a look that was hard to describe, "But... That means..."

(Y/N) was waiting for Manabe to scream at her, she was waiting for him to tell her to stay away from him or that she was a freak. He never stopped trying to accomplish his mission of having her as a friend but (Y/N) didn't want to give her hopes up, even though she never reacted well when he kept confronting her, (Y/N) didn't want to admit but, she didn't really mind his presence and she doesn't want to be alone again. 

Tears started forming at the corner of her eyes waiting for his reply...

"I have to keep the dirty thoughts in check!" Manabe yelled out in shock.

(Y/N) finally opened her eyes looking confused and shocked.

"This is very bad! ESP's gonna be the end of me!-" Manabe was shaking back and forth rapidly then looked directly into (Y/N)'s eyes, "Not being able to think dirty thoughts is torture for a guy!"

(Y/N) hesitated on replying but she wanted an answer, "You're... not scared?"

"Sure I'm scared! You're gonna treat me like a total pervert!"

(Y/N) finally arrived home and she plopped onto her bed with her arm resting on her forehead, "I'm exhausted... What was all that today? That Manabe-Kun...-"

(Y/N) smiled a little and let out a little sigh, "I've never met such a weirdo."

But all of a sudden (Y/N) started thinking about what happened to her in the past, with her classmates and her mom. She remembered the feeling about how they all abandoned and hurt her.

"No. I can't." (Y/N)'s eyes that turned bright while thinking about Manabe turned dull (E/C) once more, she will not let that happen ever again.

-THE NEXT DAY-

(Y/N) just came from doing a little grocery shopping and was waiting at the stoplight waiting for the ok to cross the street.

"Hey, if it isn't (L/N)!"

(Y/N) turned to where she heard the voice and seen Manabe, he ran up to her.

"That looks heavy, I'll carry it." he offered.

(Y/N) gave him a suspicious look, "And you want something perverted in return, right?"

"No way!-" Manabe stopped to think a little and gave (Y/N) a puppy dog face, "Really?"

"You have no confidence in your own heart."

"Come on, just hand it over."Manabe laughed and walked closer to (Y/N) and took the bag out of her hand, "Are these ingredients for dinner? It's great that you help out at home."

(Y/N) not once looked at him after he took the bad out of her hand, "I live alone."
