THAT NIGHT RILEY COULDN'T HELP BUT FEEL PURE JOY. Rick was back and things felt normal, given everything else. Lori would ask Riley to watch over Carl for the night since Rick and her needed some 'catching up' to do. Everyone knew what she meant by that.

In the morning Riley would wake up a bit later than usual, sleep feeling the best it has been in a while. She looked around her tent only to see Carl had already woken up.

She sits up and stretches her arms out, groaning in response. Getting out of her makeshift bed to start getting ready for the day. There's no rush in her gentle movements, sliding her pants on and throwing on a shirt. Finishing up, she grabs the dog tags off the ground and puts it around her neck.

Riley walks out to see everyone doing their usual routine. The woman cleaning up yesterday's mess and the kids read books their mother's packed.

The girl's first instinct was to search for Glenn, wanting to bother the shit out of him. She would search until she saw his figure standing in front of a small group. They were disassembling his newfound car for spare parts they could use for the R.V. Glenn wouldn't be too fond of their project and watch with grieving eyes.

"Good morning." Riley greets softly, standing next to Glenn.

He gives her a small smile, "Good morning."

"I've been looking for you," she laughs, pressing her fingers to her lips to suppress a bubbly laugh.

"Here I am!" he says sarcastically, throwing his arms up, "Watching my baby be stripped like she has no feelings. Vultures, yeah go on strip it clean." He encourages with fake enthusiasm.

"You heard him boys, strip away!" she jokes, loving to tease him.

"Generators need every drop of fuel they can get. Got no power without it. Sorry, Glenn," Dale apologizes as he takes more parts to the R.V., silently feeling giddy.

"Thought I'd get to drive it at least a few more days,"

"Hey maybe you and I can steal another one together someday," she nudges his shoulder, trying to lighten up his mood.

Couldn't blame him though, Riley would feel devastated if her dream car was taken from her. Oh, what a nightmare that would be.

"You nervous?" Glenn asks suddenly, gesturing his head to walk away from the horrific murder scene.

The two walk off, not having a specific location in mind. There are not many hangout spots in the camp, there was either the quarry if no one's doing laundry or the woods if you were allowed to leave.

Riley shoots him a confused look, "For what?" her eyes scanning his eyes for an answer.

"To tell Daryl we left his lunatic brother for the dead." he replies, fidgeting with his thumbs.
