"This is your house?" Tams house didn't look anything like Sophie had imagined.

It was huge, no surprise there, but it was a beautiful white brick house with a 20 foot tall window looking into a living room and an indoor balcony over the living room.

Sophie smiled when she saw a girl with black hair and silver tips.

"Come on," Tam led her inside.

Sophie suddenly felt aware that she was wearing her pjs.

Sophie looked at a modern kitchen and dining room. "Hi Linh," she greeted as Tams twin came down the stairs.

"Hi Sophie," Linh smiled. "What're you doing here?"

Sophie shrugged and looked at Tam.

"The Neverseen tried to take her tonight," he explained.

"They did?"

Sophie nodded.

Linh gave her a hug and ushered her to the stairs. "Go down that hallway and there's a room with a bathroom at the last door on the left."

"Thank you," she smiled at Tam and made her way upstairs and down the hallway. She looked at the walls and saw a bunch of pictures, Sophie noticed that there was none of anyone that looked like they could be related to Tam and Linh.

There was only pictures of Tam, Linh, and their  friends, besides Sophie.

Huh.

She smiled when she saw a picture of Keefe making a face behind Tam, who was glaring at whoever was holding the camera. There was a picture of Linh and Marella laughing by a camp fire.

A picture of Linh laughing with Biana and Fitz, while Tam was clearly trying not to join them in their laughter, was in a beautiful black frame.

Another picture Sophie saw was a photograph of all of their friends, without Sophie of course, standing in the ocean looking so happy, like they were having the time of their lives. She felt a bit left out.

Sophie suddenly felt sad when she saw a picture of Tam at a cemetery, crouching next to a grave. She couldn't see the name engraved on the stone. They probably have been through so much.

A tear slid down her cheek and she let out a quiet laugh as she saw a picture of Tam and Linh as children. They both lacked their silver tips, Tam didn't have his bangs but it was easy to recognize him. He's eyes were more vibrant when he was a kid.

The last picture on the wall was of Dex and Tam working on some sort of technical project. Dex was looking up and doing his signature dimpled smile. Tam seemed very focused on the project, but you could see a little smirk on his face if you looked close enough.

Sophie wiped the tear off of her face and opened the last door on the left and went inside.

The room had white brick walls with one black brick wall and a bed with a pale blue bedspread.

There was a picture frame on the small glass side table with a picture of a scary Easter bunny in it.

Sophie stifled a loud laugh. The most pitiful and scary Easter Bunny ever, she quoted Tam in her mind.

She looked out the big window on the black wall at the back of the room. She gazed at the stars.

Were the Neverseen watching her now? Were they looking for her? Did they still crouch outside her house?

She remembered her parents and instantly felt horrible for leaving them at night with the Neverseen possibly looking through the windows.
