Bucky was given, or forced to take Steve's case. It was hard for him. After Steve was killed things were never the same. Not for Bucky, and not for the station. No one would say this, but Steve was the reason that station was lively. Now, now it was going to be hard to get back to working, back to patrol, back to saving the day without him.

Bucky sat at his desk and stared at the empty space. A tear fell as he closed his eyes and let his mind run wild. Steve was the only family he had left, the only family he ever had. Now, he was alone, and... and there was nothing he could do.

Clint and Natasha looked at Bucky through the blinds of Fury's office. "You two have been on stark since the beginning. You knew Loral stark..." Clint turned around, "Captain, what are you getting at?" Fury stood up from his chair, "Transfer here till we find this son of a bitch."

Brooklyn Bar
Later that night

Tony sat at a bar drinking away his second bottle of scotch. He was about to ask the bar tender for round three when Bucky walked in. He looked at the bar tender, "thanks Grant." Grant nodded then went to helping another customer.
Bucky said, "tony, what are you doing to yourself?" Tony said, "Bucky," tony took another drink from his glass, "I sat here and for about an hour I just downed sodas. Then when 11pm rolled around, well I couldn't stand it anymore. One by one I lost it. I bought the bottle then I bought the second one..." tony had tears in his eyes when he looked at Bucky, "Steve's gone and I'm scared to death that one day I won't be able to stay strong like he asked." Bucky placed his hand on the side of Tony's neck, "my brothers gone. I know it's going to be difficult but know I'm here for you. We're going to find your sister. I will bring her home. You deserve a happy ending for once." tony forced himself at Bucky then buried his face in Bucky's chest. Bucky said, "come on tony. I'm parked out front. Let me take you home." Tony dropped a little money on the table then left with Bucky.

Tony said, "was this his room?" Bucky nodded his head, "yes. I thought you might want to pick up a few things before you headed home," Bucky tucked tony into the bed, "sleep well." Tony smiled then went to sleep.
