Chapter 11

Maci’s POV

I go back to my room and go to my closet and grab a pair of dark jeans, and a black knit sweater and a pair of black boots and a beanie. I leave my hair down in its natural waves and I get dressed really fast. I go back out into the kitchen and Louis is out there waiting for me.

Louis: “Ready?”

Maci: “Yep.” I say and we say goodbye to everyone and walk down the stairs. We walk out of the lobby and walk down the road.

Louis: “Let’s go somewhere where I won’t be spotted…”

Maci: “Yeah, sounds good.”

Louis: “I know exactly where to go.” He smiles at me and I smile back. We go to his car and drive to an open field.

Maci: “Um Louis where are we…?”

Louis: “Nowhere.”

Maci: “Okay.”

We walk and sit down somewhere and just talk.

Louis: “So, what are your goals in life?”

Maci: “I’ve always wanted to be a dancer, or a writer.”

Louis: “A dancer?”

Maci: “Yeah, I used to take lessons.”

Louis: “You should talk to Danielle, maybe she could help you out.”

Maci: “Yeah maybe. I have a question, if you weren’t in One Direction, what would you like to do?”

Louis: “Easy, study to be a drama teacher.”

Maci: “I remember how much you loved drama.”

Louis: “Yeah, that was the best class.”

Maci: “I know right.”

Louis: “If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you like to go?”

Maci: “Almost every girl will tell you this but Paris, and I would love to visit Ireland, Rome, and Australia.”

Louis: “Rome?”

Maci: “Yeah, it seems like it’d be a really cool place to go.”

Louis: “We should go, it’d be fun.”

Maci: “What do you look for in a girl?”

Louis: “If she has a really good sense of humor. She will joke around with me all the time.”

Maci: “Blondes or Brunettes?”

Louis: “Brunettes.”

Maci: “Blue or brown eyes?”

Louis: “Depends, I love bright blue eyes or really dark brown, what do you look for in a guy?”

Maci: “Someone who can make me laugh on my worst days.”

He nods and I lie back looking up at the sky. It looked like it was going to rain but I liked being out here with Louis, not worrying about anything. Just talking and being ourselves. He lies next to me.

Louis: “Have you ever been in love Maci?”

I didn’t reply, I thought about it for a second.

Louis: “Like, were you ever in love with Andrew?”

Maci: “Aaron, and I don’t know…I liked him and I said I loved him but I don’t think I was ever in love with him.”

Louis: “But have you ever been in love with anyone else?”
