Chapter 17

Brice’s POV

We go back to Maci’s room and drop our bags and we all sigh in relief.

Brice: “Those bags were heavy and the guys could’ve seen our gifts.”

Maci: “I know!” We start unpacking our things and grab the wrapping paper we bought. Danielle and Perrie had joined us earlier and they got some stuff for Zayn and Liam. I had got a beanie for Harry and I got him a new pair of converse. One day he told me his shoe size and so I remembered it.

I wrapped the two gifts I got for him and Maci wrapped a The Fray t-shirt she had gotten for Louis. Arianna had gotten Niall some candy and a new jumper and we finished wrapping our gifts. We put the stuff in Maci’s closet and walked out to see the guys all out there.

They looked suspicious but we just smiled at them.

Harry: “Where were you guys?”

Brice: “We were at the mall.” Niall walked out into the room and wrapped his arms around Arianna and she turned around and they kissed and we all groaned. They pulled apart and rolled their eyes at us and went back to their apartment to do who knows what.

-One week later-

Maci’s POV

I walk down to my mum’s car with my bags in my hands and hug her. She came to pick me up to take us back to her house and everyone else had already went to their families.

I put my clothes in the back of the car and hop in the front. My mum gets in the driver’s seat and starts the ignition. We start driving in a different direction than my mum’s house.

Maci: “Where are we going?” I ask and my mum just smiles at me and I’m really confused.

We’ve been in the car for about three hours and we finally get where we were going and it was kind of familiar. We pulled up to a random driveway and my mom goes back to the trunk and she grabs a suitcase for herself and I get out of the car and throw my hair up in a ponytail.

Maci: “Seriously mum where are we?” I ask and I feel someone grip my sides and I scream and slap someone. I turn around and see Louis and throw my hand over my mouth and he is rubbing his face laughing. “Oh my god Louis I’m so sorry I didn’t…wait…why are we here? I look like crap! Mum why didn’t you tell me?!” I say and cover my face with my hands and Louis just laughs at me.

He peels my hands away from my face and holds my wrists.

Louis: “You look perfect.” He whispers and I blush and go to grab my bags. Louis takes one of mine to help me and my mum had already gone inside.

He leads me towards the house and we go inside and I see my mum and I’m guessing Louis’s mum talking in the kitchen.

Louis’s mum looks at us and her face lights up and walks towards us. Louis takes my bags and places them down on the floor near the door and his mum engulfs me in a hug and I hug her back.

Jay: “So you’re the one that Louis has been talking about nonstop.”

Louis: “Mum!” He exclaims and I laugh and blush. I see Louis blushing also and I nudge him and whisper in his ear.

Maci: “Don’t be embarrassed, it’s nice you talk about me.” He starts blushing and I smirk at him and my mum and his mum just smile at us.

Jay: “I’m Johanna but call me Jay.”

Maci: “I’m Maci, nice to meet you.” I say back and she smiles.

Jay: “Louis, your sisters are going to be here soon go hide.”
