Chapter 40

A/N: Thank you for being so patient I'm so sorry I made you guys wait so long, I don't know if you even care lol but yeah I'll be ending this one soon and I'm kinda sad about it...would anyone like it if I had a sequel with Harry and Brice's daughter? Brice's POV

Harry is coming back from tour tonight because my due date is in five days. I'm really anxious...I'm terrified but really excited. I know I love Harry and he loves me but I'm scared we won't last. I know that's an awful thought but I can't help it, what if he leaves me? Would he leave me?

I attempt to relax, we have skyped but not very often and I miss him like crazy. My professors know I'll be taking a while off for the baby so they've given me the work I'll be missing and they said I'm going to need to make up tests and quizzes whenever I can and that it's my responsibility, which I know. It hasn't fully hit me that I'm having a child in a few days even though my stomach is massive. It's just scary I guess.

The door opens and I stand up from the couch and walk quickly over to Harry and he smiles at me closing the door behind him and kisses me. I take his face in my hands and kiss him back softly. He pulls away and smiles at me and glances down at my stomach.

"How are you, love?" He asks and I shrug.

"I'm fine." I say and he smiles. "How was tour?"

"It was really fun, the crowds were insane as usual but it was great." He says as we both sit down, I know he must be exhausted from the flight.

"Do you want to go to sleep?" I ask and he nods sleepily. I chuckle and we walk back to my bedroom and we both climb in. It's weird to be sleeping with someone again, I missed it. I missed him.

"Goodnight, darling. I love you." He says and I smile, closing my eyes.

"Love you too." I whisper and drift off.

It was two weeks since I had the baby and wow things have been so hectic. We had no damn idea how to raise a child so we were kind of winging it the entire time but when Adalynn finally fell asleep it was so nice to have some silence. Harry and I would just watch a movie or something and then go to sleep. I don't know what they're going to do about the band considering we now have a child.

"You okay, babe?" Harry asks softly and sits next to me while I'm holding Adalynn and she was sleeping.

"I'm fine, just thinking about everything," I respond and look down. She had light brown hair and the most gorgeous green eyes just like Harry. Her cheeks had a pink tint and she was really tiny. I adored her, so did Harry. He started crying the first time he held her in the hospital and it was one of the sweetest things I've ever seen. He was so gentle with her and the adoration in his eyes when he held her was so cute.

"Do you want me to put her in her crib?" he offers but I shake my head.

"I'll do it, it's alright," I say and take her to her bedroom which Harry and I finally decided on decorations for. I lay her in her white crib and then shut the door quietly behind me. I walk back out into the living room and as soon as I get out there Harry grabs me and kisses me.

"I hate how I can't do that as much anymore," he smiles as he pulls away.

"Me too," I say and kiss him again.

"Can I ask you something?" he asks.

"Of course," I say and he nods and we sit down.

"Have you thought about marriage?" he asks and I widen my eyes. That not really something we've ever talked about together so I was kind of shocked.
