Chapter 11

(Blonde) Katie's POV

Once I saw the huge tiger behind Hayley, I made a run for it. I knew I would never be able to out run a tiger for fucks sake, but it was worth a shot.

We ran off the bridge into the dark night. I literally couldn't see anything. The moon was full which lightened the forest floor, but not enough to where i could see perfectly.

My legs are becoming tired as I sprinted into the forest, my heavy breathing started becoming even heavier after each breath.

I ran into a twig which scratched open a part in my jeans, cutting them open and making my skin bleed. I could feel the burn in my thigh every step I took, deeper into the forest.

"ITS GETTING CLOSER." Hayley yelled from behind, I could tell she was tired by the way she stumbles her words.

"THIS WAY." I said turning to the right of the forest. Everyone followed as we sprinted through the forest.

I could hear everyone stepping on twigs and the sound of annoying crickets in the night.

My legs are starting to give out on me, the stinging in my thigh has become worse, spreading the pain all through out my body. I pushed twigs out of my way as I ran between trees. I didn't want to get caught on one or have one cut my skin open again.

We ran towards a huge circle of rocks, entering the random circle.

I quickly turned around and looked at my friends jumping over the rocks, the tiger right behind them.

I slowly walked backwards on the mushy grass and saw that the tiger isn't coming in here. I was confused, wouldn't it come in here to eat us?

"Why isn't it following us?" I asked clearly confused.

"I don't know but atleast we are safe now." Janice said rolling her eyes. She sat in the mushy wet grass and started butting her fingernails.

The tiger looked at me and then turned around, running back deeper into the forest.

I sighed in relief.

"My legs are jello now." Hayley snapped and sat besides Janice.

"Same, were so lucky we survived that though." (Brunette) Katie said with a sigh.

I sat in the middle of the circle, starring up at the full moon above us. It shines directly on the circle that we sat in, making the features of the mushy grass show.

I cross my legs and put my elbows to my thighs, putting my hands up to support my head. I yawned. I was honestly so exhausted from everything that I needed some sleep.

"Do you think it would be safe to sleep." I ask looking down at the mushy grass.

"Hell no! We almost just got eaten!!" Hayley yells.

"Yeah I see your point." I say shrugging my shoulders.

I continue to stare at the mushy grass, drawing things in it. I drew a smiley face which was very visible from the moons light.

I continue drawing and then I smile at myself once I drew a heart, reminding me of Kian. Did he even miss me? Worry about me?

"KATIE WATCH OUT." I hear someone yell, I instantly stand up and turn around and find a man standing outside the circle, pointing some arrow at me and it goes in lightly in my shoulder. My vision becoming blurry as it enters my shoulder, I look around and see everyone else has fainted and has hit the ground. I walk background trying to keep my balance. Before I can try and take the arrow out, I have fallen to the ground.
