Ricky's POV:
As soon as the words left my mouth, I fully regretted saying them. Emma's face had turned pale making me unsure of what to do. Yeah I was her boyfriend, I've seen her make many faces but none like this. Seeing her like this, I knew something was wrong and the terrible thing is, I did this to her.
"Emma.." I whisper, getting up from my chair, kneeling down towards her.
"Why.. Why is this h..happening." She stuttered, her voice weak.
"I don't know Emma, but if he find out I told you, you will be killed and.."
"And what Ricky? You're the one siding with him so wouldn't you just want me dead?" She yelled, standing up from her chair to walk out of my office. Before she could get away, I grabbed ahold of her arm.
"Emma I don't want you to die, I would never want you to die, I hate seeing you this way Emma, please don't fall for his shit. I thought this would be a normal job, not a job that fucking kills people and kidnaps them. If I knew this was this kind of job, I would of never signed up for it with Kian and Connor. Emma please don't leave me, you don't understand how much I think about you, I think about every moment and day we've spent together, regretting the arguments because I would lose anything or anyone just to be with you. Please know before you run out and leave that I..."
She tilted her head waiting for me to go on, well it's now or never.
"That I love you Emma, just please know I'm trying my hardest to create a back up plan with the boys to get us all out of here." I sigh, trying my best to fake a smile.
"EMMA GET DOWN HERE NOW PLEASE." Someone yells from downstairs. As I look up from the floor, her eyes looking directly at me, she whispers something I couldn't understand.
"What?" I ask confused.
Emma smiles at me weakly and lightly shuts the door, leaving me alone in my office. Well I guess my speech wasn't enough for her then.
I sigh and take out my phone. 6 new messages from Kian and 2 from Connor.
Kian:
Fuck Ricky what do I do, I wanna go see her but I don't wanna get fired.
Kian:
Screw this, I'm going to find her in forest whether or not I get fired.
Kian:
I'm here and I found her, she looks so strong running in the forest, kinda turning me on, shit.
Kian:
She's running away from me, what the hell why is Katie running away from meeeeee): Ricky where are you):
Kian:
I'm going to start running and get her, wish me luck.
Kian:
I told her, I told her everything, meet me @ starbucks in 5.
Connor:
How's Emma up in your office mate(;
Connor:
Meet me and Kian @ Starbucks.
I looked at the clock on my phone, he sent that message 2 minutes ago, fuck I better get going.
I grabbed my car keys and ran down the spiral stairs, hoping not to see my boss.
"That's it baby, come a little closer." I heard him say from downstairs, thankfully he isn't up here, he's probably fucking some random poor sad girl anyways, it's just what he does and it's terrible.
I ran out the door, towards my car. I unlocked it and hopped inside.
18 Minutes Later:
I managed to get to Starbucks without being caught speeding the whole way there. I also changed into a tank top and shorts since the weather was 60 degrees (which is weird since it's winter still). I walked into Starbucks and found Kian and Connor sitting, drinking their drinks and writing something down in a notebook.
"Hey." I smiled, sitting down at the table.
"I'm so happy I got this, I was so tired this morning but now I'm a battery! Full of energy!" Connor said, throwing his drink into the air, catching it as it almost landed on the floor.
"Yeah we can all tell Connor." Kian yawned, rolling his eyes. I looked over at the notes he was writing, he must be writing it to our boss since that's what we 'had to do' because he wanted to know 'everything that was going on'.
"Yo Kian what is he making you write about now?" I asked curiously.
"(Blonde) Katie. I told him I was going to watch her today since shes probably the smartest one out in the forest."
"Nakia is smarter then all of us." Connor argued.
"We're talking about the girls in the forest dumbass." Kian rudely said, glaring at Connor.
"Damn, sorry." Connor chuckled.
"Well uh what are you writing about her?" I asked awkwardly, playing with my necklace.
"Just about how 'dumb' she is and that the next plan he is going to do will work perfectly which is really going to fail because I told her all about it and what to do to save her and her friends from it affecting her."
"What do you mean by affecting her?" I asked, wondering what the next plan was he had on them.
"You haven't been told the next plan?" Connor asked, looking at me confused.
"No I haven't, what is it going to be?" I asked looking at Kian.
"I'll pull it up for you on my computer because you're gonna get confused." He said, opening his laptop.
"Why would I get confused?"
"You just would, anyways this is it." He said pointing to a symbol on his computer.
"Jikininki?" I asked confused.
"He's a demon, boss plans on doing something that apparently will get the demon to go out into the woods and kill the girls.." Connor quietly says, making sure nobody hears.
"What, why the fuck does he wanna do this?!" I said, a bit to loudly causing attention from some girls to look over at us confused.
"He wants to rule the world I guess and if he can make this work then I guess he has the power to rule it." Connor whispered, looking at the floor.
"Look at this, the demon is suppose to send voices into your mind to torture you to eat human flesh" Kian said, pointing at the screen, looking at the article.
"Kian this means that the demon is going to enter their mind and cause them to act this way." Connor says studying the symbol.
"Like he's even gonna find this demon, I bet it's not even alive." Kian chuckles, but moments later, after reading deeper his mouth drops, fully.
"Kian what's the problem.." I say concerned.
"I was wrong, I read it wrong, he's a demon from the dead spirits, who are mean towards others, and they like hate people and hate themselves and it says that they're so terrifying disgusting to look at and even imagine once they enter you.." Kian stutters.
"He can't do this, no way in hell he can it's impossible to even find this." Connor whispers, putting his hands in his face.
"Well whatever he plans on doing, we have to stop it." Kian says, scratching his head.
"Let's start planning, now." I say, taking the computer from Kian, starting our researching and plan into stop my boss from killing our best friends.
