Previously in Nakia's POV:
"Start plan C66." The boss evilly says
"Alright sir." Alex replies
"Follow me miss Nakia." Alex says taking my hand.
"Uh okay?" I say confused.
He takes me down back to the basement and pulls a latch down from one of the light switches, revealing a secret door to a black room with neon blue lights surrounding it. In the room it has a bunch of high tech stuff and a large tv with 2 chairs in front of it. One chair Emma is already sitting in, tied in.
"Alex what are you doing?" I question but before I could get an answer from him, he tied me into the chair next to Emma.
"Tell Janice I uh liked her?" Alex says and walks out of the room, closing the door. So that's why he's familiar, he's Janice's crush.
"Emma what's going on?" I question looking around the room.
"They're giving us a live show?"
"On what?"
"Watching them die."
Nakia's POV:
"Emma what are you talking about." I stuttered as my words came out.
"Don't you fucking understand? We're about to watch our best friends die Nakia." Emma screamed as tears started forming in my eyes.
"Emma you can't believe him, they aren't going to die everything is going to be fi.."
"Nakia stop saying that! Nothing is going to be fine! They fucking won and there isn't anything we can do now." Emma yelled as tears poured out of her eyes and streamed down her cheeks.
"There is something we can do Emma, we can hope they will be okay." I sighed, trying my hardest not to let the tears fall.
"ALEX." Emma sobbed.
"Emma what are you doing?"
"ALEX." Emma screamed even louder, sobbing much harder.
Alex instantly ran back into the room, panting as if he just ran a mile.
"What the fuck do you want." He sharply stated, catching his breath.
"If you really.. really loved Janice you wouldn't let this happen to h.. her." Emma sobbed in between her words.
"I never said I loved her I said I liked her. I'll admit I do have feelings towards her but I don't love her that's erroneous." He simply stated as if he truly meant it.
"Alex our best friends that we love, were about to watch die in front of us on the screen. You may not love Janice but she could be your future wife or something as simple as that and if you don't do something to stop the boss from
doing this you'll lose your future with Janice." I whispered, looking at the bright blue lights on the wall.
