Lucy's POV
To my surprise I actually made the team as a seeker. Draco was the only other person at the tryouts that wanted the position, but Gregory Goyle accidentally knocked him off of his broom by hitting him with a Bludger. Terence managed to get a spot as Chaser.
"Next week is our first match against Gryffindor you guys better be ready." Adrian called and dismissed the team.
I went to go tell Jennie and the rest of my friends who all congratulated me. In the evening I was in Severus chambers who, to celebrate me making the team, had bought me a small cake with green icing.
"Dad, you didn't have to." I giggled and gave him a hug for his sweet gesture.
"I assume Dumbledore will send for you to go up soon for your meeting, so let us enjoy this cake once that is done." Severus said and as if on cue I heard a knock at the door and some second year student said that Dumbledore wants to see me.
"I'll see you later." I waved my dad goodbye and headed for the headmasters office.
Once I arrived, Harry was already sitting there.
It took ages for Dumbledore to explain everything, but to sum it up he basically told Harry and I that we both share the same mother and that he wasn't aware of this until he looked through my records and adoption papers. Severus also was not aware of this and was just told that nobody knew who my mother was because she anonymously brought me to an orphanage.
I must admit Dumbledore really outdid himself with that story. Harry sprung up right after and hugged me tightly. I could feel he was crying a little and honestly it made some tears appear in my own eyes, but I forced myself to stay composed because I had to practice keeping my emotions under control. And Harry would probably hate me if he ever found out I was working for Voldemort, even if I wasn't doing so completely willingly but because I wanted to keep my father safe.
Of course the next day Harry had to tell all of our friends this and they all seemed very happy for us. Even if we weren't fully brother and sister, besides his aunt and uncle I was the only blood related family for him. Sirius had definitely become a lot like a father figure to Harry though, he was always writing with him and said that he went to his place during the break.
During our free period we were all in the library and Hermione kept complaining about how Umbridge was such a bad teacher and was not preparing us for our OWLS or how to defend ourselves. I agreed with her, this years D.A.D.A class was super useless.
"Sirius told me in a letter that the ministry believes we are forming some sort of army and this is making fudge really paranoid. That could be one of the reason she isn't letting us use magic." Harry spoke up. "He also told me how there are a bunch of disappearances happening and Voldemort is definitely behind them."
"We need to do something against this." Terence chimed in. "It can't be that while Voldemort is on the move we aren't learning a single way to defend ourselves."
"I agree, we need someone to teach us actual defence against the dark arts." Suddenly Hermione turned to face Harry.
"What are you looking at me for?" He asked, raising his hands defensively.
"You are the only one who ever actually fought against Voldemort, you could teach us important things. I think Lucy and Jennie too, you three are the most skilled in Defence against the Dark arts." Hermione told Harry."I'm fine with that." Jennie said pleased and I nodded my head in agreement. We could teach them how to defend themselves and make them stronger against Voldemort when he and the army he is building will attack.
Harry eventually agreed and I was happy that I could be part of helping the good side as best as I could, considering I had to also aid the bad side somehow.
