I always thought that being a small star was better than myself.
Their glow was so enticing.
I would never amount to more than a rock floating through space.
Who would want a meteor over a shining star with a beautiful face.
But you stormed in and showed me who I am.
I'm more than a rock in space, I was never so bland.
Things are always too good to be true.
I forgot that meteors can't meet without crashing.
I suppose I just hoped that would never become me and you.
