Kai pov

I was chilling in my room waiting for my packages to arrive and mattia I ordered a whole bunch of stuff and mattia's coming over to help me put it up and he was bored and was already gonna come like he said and we leave to playlist later today but since it's the morning we're doing this

Maiya:Kaiii your stuff is here!!

Kai:coming!!

I slip on my shoes and a hoodie since I didn't have a shirt on I ran downstairs almost falling on my face

Maiya:ha you almost fell

Kai:shut up

I signed the papers getting all the stuff I just got Maiya helping we were walking away from the door when another knock came

Maiya:you go put that stuff in your room I got it

I nod going upstairs placing the packages on my bed going back downstairs to get the rest but I saw Mattia already had them

Kai:why thank you kind sir

He rolled his eyes and laughed as we went to my room I didn't get a good look at his face cause he had his hood on Mattia never wears his hood unless-I turn trying to see his face his eyes were red and swollen he looked like he's been crying for hours amd his arm he looked like he was trying to shield it from touching things what's going on

Kai:Mattia

I said once he put the stuff down still trying to protect his left arm

Matti:yes

Kai:what happened

Mattia:what do you mean

Kai:well for starters

I walk up to him pulling his hood back pushing his hair out his face

Kai:you were crying you never cry unless it's really bad

Kai:and second you've been protecting your arm from hitting anything

I reached for his arm but he flinched away

Kai:bubs I'm not gonna hurt you

He relaxed as I moved closer to him slowly lifting his hoodie arm up so I won't hurt him my eyes went wide his arm was wrapped in a long shirt that had blood going through it I look up at him

Kai:can I take this off

He nodded slowly as I unwrapped it there he had a huge cut running down his arm as he was still bleeding I gasp stepping back looking at him

Kai:who did this-did they tell you to-

Mattia:no they didn't I didn't do this to myself

Kai:then who did

He looked down as he mumbled

Mattia:my dad

Kai:y-your dad why would he-wait

He looked up at me

Kai:stay right here I'll be right back please be careful

He nodded but held a confused face as I ran downstairs
