*Alex's P.O.V*

I am currently hanging out with Kayleb and Ellie. But for half an hour, they've been debating on if pizza crust should have cheese in it or not.

"I'm just saying, why add another thing in the pizza? I think the cheese in the crust can be a little too much. If it's the only option of pizza we eat if we're at a party then I'll eat it. But other than that, I won't." Kayleb said, staring at Ellie.

"Cheese in pizza crust can really be surprising for people that didn't know that cheese was in the crust or not." Ellie told him.

"Why have cheese in pizza crust when you can have as much pizza toppings as you want." Kayleb countered back.

"What's wrong with cheese in pizza crust?"

"Anything that you can think of. Plus, it's different for other people on how much cheese is put into the crust." Kayleb said.

I can't believe they are actually debating about this. Ellie does have a stuffed crust but it's only when it's at her house. When the three of us are having pizza, we have no cheese in the crust.

"The ultimate pizza debate." I cut in.

"And it's about cheese in the crust. We should discuss why pineapple is a pizza topping. I'm not saying it's a bad topping because I eat pineapple just by itself at my house. Pineapple and ham is the perfect combination on a pizza." Kayleb chimed in.

Ellie and I nodded.

"I would say the same. But why don't we ever get hawaiian pizza?" Ellie asked.

"Because we are always getting sausage and cheese." I said and was looking at my phone and seeing if anything was happening. There wasn't much.

Kayleb smiled. "Sausage and cheese has been our go to pizza for the past few years that we've been friends."

It's true. While the three of us have been friends, that kind of pizza is the only pizza that we would eat. We wouldn't get any other pizza.

"Now all this talk of pizza is making me hungry." I said.

The three of us looked at each other and it was just that instinct that we all get from each other. We all started to smile.

"Let's order pizza then." Kayleb said and he was already grabbing his phone and phoning the pizza place that was in town.

"Has he been this giddy since getting his cast and sling off?" Ellie asked me.

I nodded. "When he came over a couple days ago without it, he was so happy. Like we took a car ride and he was enjoying being able to drive his car again. Since it was like a little over a month that he was able to drive it."

Ellie smiled. I can see her expression pretty clear.

"I know that this kind of thing isn't talked about that much anymore but do you and him still, you know?" I then asked her.

"I think for the moment we're good with being friends and all. You get what I'm saying? Things became hard when he did that thing which led to you and Matt breaking up. We hardly talk about it either but we're good with being friends and all."

"That's understandable." I nodded at what she was saying.

Then a few minutes later, Kayleb came back.

"Pizza should be here in fifteen to twenty minutes." He told us.

I love being able to hang out with my friends even though it seems like we do it every day. With the school year almost ending, we've been trying to hang out with each other even though we tend to get busy with school. Which is understandable because we want good grades. We're all trying to be consistent.
