"I wanna show you something." Alex said and then she grabbed my hand.

Alex and myself were currently at her house. We were pretty much messing around in the living room and not really doing anything. I helped Alex with some of the chores that she had to do and then we ended up making lunch together. It was really fun.

She was guiding me to her bedroom. We made it there and then she sat me down on her bed.

"Close your eyes, babe." She instructed and I did what I was told.

I heard some noise in the background but then I felt her sit down in front of me on the bed.

"Okay, now you can open your eyes."

A few seconds went by and then I opened them and when I did, I saw that she had two keychains in her hand. One of them said California and then the other said Georgia.

I instantly smiled. "What's this for?"

"Remember when I told you that I was going to the boardwalk with Kayleb and Ellie? Well, when we went, we went to the gift shop that was there. I saw them and had instantly thought that they could have some meaning to them. The California keychain is yours so that you have a memory of me and then the Georgia one is mine so that I have a memory of you."

Her explanation behind the meaning of the key chains meant so much to me. I was definitely going to always remember this.

"I love it." I said and she handed me the California keychain.

No matter what her answer is to my question that I need to ask her, this will still hold the same meaning as it does right now.

"Can I take a picture of it and post it on Instagram?" I then asked.

We are pretty private about our relationship and pretty much the only people that know about it is my family and then some of my friends from the Walking Dead. Also her parents and her best friends.

She nodded. "Of course."

We laid the key chains flat on the bed and then I took a picture of it. Then when I went to post it on Instagram, I only added a heart emoji for the caption and then posted it on my Instagram story.

The fans might get curious but it still is private to both Alex and me. Maybe one day the fans would know.

"I am definitely going to keep this keychain on my car keys." I said, still smiling at the amazing gift that Alex gave me.

"But your car keys are at your house, am I correct?"

I chuckled. "Yeah, they are. But they should be home by the time that I get back."

But by home, I mean something else. Have any idea where I'm getting at now?

My birthday is almost here and pretty soon, I am going to be asking her what has been on my mind for who knows how long. It seems like it's been weeks since it's been on my mind. But hey, the waiting is going to be worth it.

Alex had put her own keychain on her bedside table and I went to put my keychain in my pocket for now. When I get back to the hotel later today, I would put it in my suitcase.

"You wanna do something tonight?" I then heard from behind me.

I turned around. "Like what?"

"You know how the park is one of our favorite places to be at?" She then asked.

I only nodded.

"Well I just got an idea on what we can do for a little date. I mean, only if you are up for it."
