*Matt's P.O.V*
Even though it was late at night, it was still kind of early. It was only 8:30. I had nothing to do so I thought that I would use this time for some fresh air.
We have a basketball court in our backyard so why not spend some time doing that for a bit.
I was in the kitchen and I had got a glass of milk ready because I was really wanting some milk at the moment. When I had it all ready, I went out to the backyard and then set my glass of milk on a table that was near me. I grabbed the basketball that was in the chair and then started making baskets.
It's only been two days since Alex went back home in California. It felt weird not having her near me especially after having her here for days. It was like I was feeling lost and not myself. But I knew that I couldn't be in a slump.
I would have to be strong. So since Alex went back home, I have been trying. Macsen has been helping me with it and Alex and I talk whenever we can. I'm not as busy so I have a lot of freetime and I would text Alex and do something else as well.
After shooting a couple of baskets, I heard the backyard door being opened and there was Macsen.
"I figured you'd be out here." Macsen said and he stood across from me.
I shrugged. "It's a nice night out so I thought why not."
"How are you holding up?"
I know why he is asking that. That's probably the first time he has asked me that because he could just be able to tell from my facial expressions on how I feel. Ever since Alex went back home.
"I'm just trying my best to be strong. I know that I can't be in a slump so I wanna be better this time and not be all sad." I told him.
Macsen nodded. "Alex wouldn't want you to be sad."
I didn't say anything else. I threw the basketball into the hoop and then caught it.
Macsen then stood up. "Toss me the ball."
I threw him the ball and then he started to shoot some baskets with the ball. We took turns with the basketball and just tried to get the basketball into the basket. It was really fun.
"I can't remember the last time we did this." I said and then shot the ball again into the hoop.
"It's been a while."
I guess since we can get busy sometimes that we never get the chance to do stuff like this. It would happen every now and then.
I definitely missed this and I'm glad that my brother and I could do this.
"Are you doing anything tomorrow?" Macsen then asked me.
"Why?"
"Because earlier, Madison was talking to me and she was saying how maybe her, MacKenzie, you and I go and do something together. Where it's just the four of us hanging out. Since we can't remember the last time where the four siblings were just having fun." Macsen explained.
I've begun to think about what Macsen was telling me. What he was saying was true and I guess I would say Madison is right too. Since when was the last time the four of us hung out together. My siblings and I are usually busy with our acting jobs that we can't remember when it happened last time.
But I think that it would be fun. I'm hardly doing anything nowadays.
"I'm in. But what could we do?"
Macsen stared at me. "Madison was saying that we could go bowling."
I chuckled. "I can't even remember the last time I went bowling. It sounds like a lot of fun."
