The sky was bright and fresh that afternoon, birds are chirping joyfully and a lot of students are playing around in the garden as usual. The locust trees were in bloom and the fragrance of the blossoms filled the air. The academy seems to be in its peaceful time these days, it's a little weird since usually there'll be some drama or fight among the students every day. Sometimes, even some male students smoked a grape-vine and they bit the tongue, so they can be considered manly by their gang. They also gamble and drunk at night here. The teachers had warned them so many times, but instead, they fight the teachers using their powers. That's why no one cares about those naughty students anymore. They will only bring headaches for those who saw them doing mischievous things.

I took a stroll in the garden while staring at the honey locust tree that bloomed days ago. The tree had deciduous and bear compound leaves, often with numerous leaflets. The plants characteristically feature stout, the thorns are also branching like a spine on the trunks and branches. Since the locust trees are blooming, that means summer is almost here. I never knew that time flies this fast, after the summer break I will enter the 2nd grade. The academy curriculum system is different from my past life, usually, the academic school year will last 11 or 12 months. But here, it's different. In the academy, you only need to finish 1 grade for 8 months. Now, I stretched myself out and sat down on the garden bench, but it's kinda lonesome. I really need something to handle my boredness.

"You're bored?" asked Damian who was in my necklace

"Duh, I don't know what to do right now," I replied

"Don't you have classes today?"

I shook my head

"No, it's Saturday"

"Oh, why don't you look for a stone?"

"And why should I do that?"

"Don't you want to train your mana?"

Now I remember, last time Damian said if I wanted to train and improve my mana, I need to get a stone. Finding a mana stone is quite hard, also this body has a rare kind of mana. So this is going to be a hard thing to do. Probably my mana stone should be related to void and darkness.

"And what mana stone should I search?" I asked Damian

"I don't know, why don't you search it in your school library?" he replied

"Oh yeah, great idea"

I then walked to the library. The library is located on the 3rd floor of the academy, and luckily it ain't that far from the garden. The academy library a large area filled with bookshelves that hold various texts. This area is somewhat divided into 2 sections, with the bookshelves in the upper-right part of the area neatly arranged into rows, and the shelves on the left side of the area being placed more sporadically. The shelves throughout the area hold over 90 books to read, almost all of which have at least a second book that can be read while using a specific effect. Libraries are magical. And I am a book lover who has the moment of sheer wonder and exhilaration of the library. I really liked the smell of books, it's relaxing. I wander and stared around but suddenly I bumped into somebody...

"You're okay?" he asked

I was surprised, he's Asmodeus

"Uh, I'm so sorry, I was too excited-"

"Haha, it's okay, I also did that sometimes"

I feel so ashamed of crashing into him by accident. If I saw him, this wouldn't have happened, I thought, shaking my own head. I was very careless, and I went around the library again. Books about mana stones are rare. Because information about mana stone is protected by every kingdom. It's not just people who can access to borrow or read the book. Because it is said, which stone is one of the legendary and powerful artifacts for humans. Because each person's strength is different, there is rarely any information about the mana stones. Luckily, this academy was an exception. In the novel, Camelia found the mana stone book on a shelf that was in the corner of the library. I need to go there.

I looked at that shelf, and I was surprised. The book had been taken away by somebody. That's weird, I'm sure that only Camelia knew the location of the book at that time. Oh, wait, in the novel, it was written that Camelia knew that book was there because of Maverick. But the original Maverick soul was unknown, so it's impossible if another person knew about that book. Then a guy approached me, with the mana book in his hands.

"Camelia, what are you searching for?" Asmodeus asked

"I was looking for a mana book-"

I looked at the book and took it from his hands. I was surprised.

"How did you know about this book?" I asked

"Ah, I was wandering around the library and this book caught my attention," he replied

What he said sounds logical though, but, oddly, he is only interested in this book rather than any other books in the library. Oh well, I guess I need to ask him for the book after he finished reading it.

"You were looking for this book?" he asked me

"Yeah-"

"Oh, may I know why?"

I really don't want to say that I was looking for a mana stone, but I guess he's trustable so I'll just tell him my intentions.

"I need to look for a mana stone," I replied

"To train your mana, I see"

"Wait, you know?"

"What else would you do with a mana stone?"

"Hmm, good point-"

Either than training mana, usually, some people use it for magical experiments. But, I'm not a witch or an alchemist, I don't need magical experiments. And I'm just a scholar, I can't use mana stones for other things except to train my own mana.

"But I recommend you to search for Claveroy stone," he said

That's surprising, he knew about mana stones.

"You sure that mana stone fits me?" I asked
