The sun shines brightly in the morning,  and birds are also chirping from the window. It's still early in the morning, Kathrina still fell asleep. I get up from my bed, and I went to the training grounds. I need to exercise.

"Hey Camelia!" Maverick called me

"Really? you're here too? you do know me well," I said

"I'm your best friend, after all. You should be grateful to have me with you"

"You're right, without you, I won't be able to survive"

"Are you guys done yet?" Asmodeus asked

"Oh sorry, I didn't see you coming. What happened to your eyes?" I asked

"This is my original eye color," he said

When I met him for the first time,  his eye color was red like mine. But now, his eye color was purple. Weirdly, you can change your eye color frequently.

"Aren't your eyes supposed to be red like my eyes?" I asked

"If you saw my eyes are red, that means you're not just a normal human," he said to me

"What do you mean?" I asked

Asmodeus then left me without a word. Maverick sighed and he told me that Asmodeus has special mana, and it was sealed. That mana can be unsealed with the stone that we get from my family's mine.

"But how did that happened?" I asked

"Because his grandfather was the one who sealed it"

"You mean Hades? but why?"

"That power was too powerful for him, grandfather was worried that he'll suffer from it"

"Is that mana more powerful than the one that I have?"

"I don't know, but probably it'll be equal"

"Oh yeah, how did he survive anyway?"

"Who?"

"Your brother"

In the novel, Asmodeus was supposed to be dead. But the novel plot changed, he was born and grow up as a man. This is ridiculous, how could he survive?

"I think that we are living in another timeline," Maverick said

"What do you mean?" I asked while swinging my sword to the wooden doll

"I think his mother turned back time"

"How did you know?"

"Asmodeus died because he was killed when the day he was born, but I think that woman predicted that'll happen"

"So that means she treated you kindly?"

"Yes, that's why I realized something wrong. In this world, devils could turn back time. And Asmodeus mother was half devil, she could turn back time"

In the novel, Asmodeus's mother was the empress. But she treated Maverick cruelly because she reminded him of her son who was killed. She couldn't accept that Maverick is alive, while her son was dead. But in this timeline, she treated Maverick kindly because Asmodeus is now alive. What Maverick said wasn't wrong, she probably turned back time. The myths told that devils could turn back time and Asmodeus's mother was a half-devil. She probably has the ability to turn back time.

I stabbed the wooden doll in front of me.

"That's why the plot is changing, but do you think I'll survive?" I asked
