"Ricky." Ej called for him, the curly headed boy sighed and turned around. "Dude."

"What? Want to brag to my face that you are dating nini and I'm not?"

"What? No." Ej scoffed, "you have the right to be sad. You really love her, and it isn't easy seeing her with another guy-"

"Especially when that other guy was one of my best friends and still lied to me about liking the girl." Ricky said harshly.

"It's been 2 years, dude."

"What does years have to do with this? I can love her for however long I want to." Ricky said and push Ej.

"Okay, we are not going to get physical here." Ej spat.

"Oh but I will." Ricky said almost pushing Ej in the face until he saw nini behind him.

"Tell me you weren't just about to punch Ej." Nini said in an angry tone. Ricky slowly put his fist down and cleared his throat.

"Whaaaaat?" He said nervously, "I wasn't going to punch Ej. We are getting along just fine." Ricky put up a fake smile.

"lying has become a hobby now? Hm." Nini said harshly at Ricky. "C'mon Ej, let's go." She said and laced her hand with Ej's as they walked away. Ricky groaned in frustration.

He kept making everything worse. He sighed and followed the couple. "Nini wait!"

"Yes?"

"...I'll just wait in the car." Ej awkwardly said and left.

"What do you want Bowen?"

"Calling each other by our last names I see? Alright, Roberts." Ricky said, nini pursed her lips implying that she was annoyed and folded her arms. "Right, no jokes."

"I'm sorry, I got really mad at Ej for Lying to me about not liking you."

"Oh great! Now you know how I feel after all the times you lied to me." Nini spat.

"Sorry."

"Seems like you're apologizing a lot these times." Nini said harshly, "I mean, do they even have meaning at this point?"

Ricky scoffed, and rolled his eyes. "What do you want from me!?"

"To leave me alone." Nini said lastly before walking to the car. Ricky felt his eyes tear up but quickly wiped the water away before they fall on his face. Nini entered the car and sighed

"Nini. That was intense...you okay?" Ej asked after kissing her on the cheek.

"He's just annoying right now. It's frustrating. How come he can't just be my friend and let me be with you?" Nini rolled her eyes.

Ej shrugged, "I don't know. He's allowed to feel heartbreak but, he should take it out on us."

"Exactly! You are so understanding, I love to you." Nini said before quickly pecking Ej on the lips.
