a few days pasted, ej and nini kept their promise. they still hung out but as friends, most of the time when they hang out kourtney would come along, and sometimes ricky would be there.
but ricky is still holding a grudge against ej for some reason. nini had told him to let it go, but ricky would listen.
"seriously can't understand why you are still friends with that doofus." ricky scoffs, and takes a bite out of his sandwich.
"can we not all about that? you are always talking about how much you hate ej, i get it." nini folded her arms.
"sorry..he kind of just irritates me. also, known he still likes you and you still like him is weird."
"half of the time kourtney is there when we hang out. and even if it was just him as i hanging out, you don't need to worry." nini shrugged.
"i know, i trust you." ricky said and kissed nini's forehead. "will you be my girlfriend?" he said nervously.
nini was taken aback, this was the first time she ever heard those words from ricky. 2 years ago she has been waiting for months for him to ask that exact question but it never came. now it did, she was excited, happy and nervous.
all emotions at once and it only lead her to say one thing. "no."
