the past week, nini and ricky has been hanging out. They got along well and haven't fought at all. ricky still didn't want to talk to Ej, ej tried his best to be on good terms with ricky, but it has backfired many times.
"i see that you and ricky are getting along fine." Ej mentioned as he took a sip from his drink.
"yeah, you were right. get over the past and start fresh." nini smiled up at him. "thank you."
"noo, that was all on you nini. i just gave you a little push." Ej smiled and shrugged.
ej was completely confused, but nini isnt. She knows she loves ej, but what she also knows is she is falling for ricky all over again. nini decided to distance herself from ricky, even though she also knows thats going to make things worse than it already is.

"dude look." ricky said showing big red the text messages between him and nini.
"yeah what about it?"
"doesn't it seem like something's wrong?"
"yeah, it does. or maybe shes doing something. She did say she is with Ej." big red shrugged.
"but it seems really off. like she's trying to avoid me." ricky furrowed his eyebrows.
"bro, I don't think it's that deep." big red rolled his eyes, "she hung out with you all week, let her hang out with her boyfriend now."
"or did you forget that you aren't her boyfriend?" big red joked.
"shut up." ricky jokingly punched big red in the arm. "im going over to her house."
"dude!" big red called out but ricky ignored him.

"hello-" nini paused, "....ricky what are you doing here?"
"you seem okay? why were you replying dryly?" ricky asked, and entered her house without Nini's permission.
"yeah sure come in." nini scoffed in annoyance.
"ricky?" ej questioned, walking up to the front area of nini's house. "what's he doing here?"
"i don't know ej, he just barged in." nini rolled her eyes.
"why the sudden change in attitude? I thought we were getting along well?"
"you guys were, but she needs to spend time with her boyfriend atleast?" Ej said.
"shut up Ej, I wasn't fucking talking to you." ricky said, as he shot a quick glare at Ej.
"can you stop ricky? I spent all week with you. Let me hang out with my boyfriend now? did you forget that we are just best friends?" nini harshly stated which left ricky speechless.
"i-"
"no. just leave, please." nini said, pointing to the door. ricky sighed and left her house.
"did you really need to be that harsh nini?" ej sighed.
