Ej was annoyed with the way Ricky was acting, and the fact that he told him to break up with nini made if even more annoyed. All he was trying to do was fix things and Ricky was make it worse. He didn't want to out Ricky like this but he knew he had to show nini.
"Hey nini." Ej greeted her before giving her a quick kiss.
"Hi ej! What are you doing here?"
"I can't see my girlfriend whenever I want too?" Ej joked and nini rolled her eyes.
"No, actually you can't." Nini joked back. Ej let out a soft chuckle then sighed, "what's wrong?"
"This might make Ricky more angrier with me." Ej paused, "but I have to show you."
"okay....what is it?" Nini asked, then Ej showed him all the text that recently happened. Mini read through all of it and when she saw what Ricky said at the end she slightly gasped and looked up and Ej. "You're not gonna break up with me...right?"
"What no?!" Ej said and nini was relieved, "I just wanted to show you because I couldn't believe Ricky had the audacity to say that."
"Like, yeah that would mean HE'D have a chance but that wouldn't make your heart break hurt any less if I did that." Ej explained.
"I honestly don't know what's going on with Ricky, it's like I hardly even know him anymore." Nini said as she looks directly into Ej's eyes.
"don't say that. He's still the same Ricky. He's just hurt."
"Yeah, but being hurt doesn't give you the excuse to try and ruin someone's relationship. He's really good at that these days." Nini said, with a bit of attitude on the last sentence. "Obviously referring to him ruining his OWN relationship 2 years ago." Nini added, Ej chuckled.
Nini stood up from the couch and walked towards the door, "where you going?" Ej asked.
"To talk to Ricky, he's not gonna get away with that." Nini said, grabbing the keys from the drawer.
"Woah woah, Ricky is going to hate me." Ej said trying to stop her by grabbing her hand.
"Well, guess he's gonna hate me even more." Nini said with sass, "you coming?"
"Uh, yeah." He said, he quickly grabbed his jacket and followed the girl to the car.
