No!

The rest of the Malfoy manor was utterly different than Draco's room. She noticed the second her feet hit the cold wooden floor, that she may have visited his room but it had been years since she visited the manor.

What shocks her the most, is Rosa. Her younger sister, her sister who she had thought would be safely tucked away in France is sat, the spitting image of her, in the arm chair.

Draco's eyes are trained on Emily. His heart beating out of his chest. Willing it was all a dream. Willing that they haven't really been caught.

"Well?" Bellatrix questions, holding Harry up for Draco to look at. He focuses intently on keeping his eyes on Harry. He doesn't want to draw attention to Emily. She's unnoticed currently, head down and hood drawn up, hiding herself from view behind Ron's shoulder.

"I cant be sure," he lies, sneaking a glance in Emily's direction. The moment she notices it Bellatrix drops Harry to the floor.

She grabs Emily's wrist, pulling her to her and yanking the hood of the jumper down.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the Davies girl," the comment draws attention.

Rosa is on her feet, peeking out of the arm her mother had placed in front of her, holding her back, away from her sister.

"That means it must be Potter," it's her own father that speaks up, unaware of the dirty look his wife throws him.

"Call him. Call him Draco," Lucius instructs.

Anyone can see the conflict in his eyes, looking between his ex-girlfriend, her friends, the boy who had a chance of giving him a choice and his family.

"It's not Harry," Emily lies, her voice drawing the attention back to her. "We argued with Harry just before Christmas. He left in the middle of the night. We haven't seen him since. We are looking for him too," she continues

"You always were a chatterbox," Bellatrix smirks, dropping the girl onto the floor in front of her. Ron moves forward to help her but is held back by a snatcher. "A shame. An awful shame it would be. A pretty little mouth like yours to loose it's tongue," Bellatrix drawls slowly

"Mother, you can't let her. That's Emily, that's your daughter!" Rosa practically screams

"Silence," her father replies

"Rosaleena, go upstairs. You don't need to be here for this," Narcissa smiles gently

"No. If you want to torture my sister you will look me in the eye while you do it," Rosa demands. Emily notes immediately that her sister would have been abandoned too had she gone to Hogwarts, she'd have been in Gryffindor.

"Oh with pleasure darling," Bellatrix grins, turning back to Emily "your familiar with a favourite of mine I think. It often loosens the tongue. Perhaps then you will tell me the truth. The cruciatus curse," she is practically gleeful

"Rosaleena, upstairs. Now." Her mother speaks quietly.

"It's okay Rosa," Emily assures, ignoring the fear in her gut. "You are very brave," she adds. With that Rosa does as told, well she leaves the room and waits on the stairs to listen in, Bellatrix turning to Draco

"My wand Draco," Bellatrix smiles, placing her hand out for him to pass her it. He makes no attempt to move.

"Draco," Narcissa speaks, her voice pleading. He still doesn't move.

"Oh isn't this darling? Little Draco is going to try and protect his girlfriend. Don't you know, nephew, that the only way you could protect her, would have been to steer clear from the beginning. But you just couldn't help yourself, and who can blame you, she's a pretty face,"

"Shes more than that," Draco's voice surprised everyone. Nobody expecting him to he so bold. To defy his family so openly.

"That's sweet. Really very cute. But this girl has tarnished her family and I can ignore that, but she's tarnished ours too now. So she will pay the price. My wand Draco,"

"No! You swore to me! You swore to me that if I joined you would make sure she was protected. Every single one of you promised me that no harm would come to Emily if I got the dark mark, it's the only reason I did it and you know it. You won't hurt her. I won't let you,"

"What power do you think you have? You should have known it was a lie from the last time I hurt her. She left me with a scar, your aunt. Where's your loyalty?"

"My loyalty is with the only person in this room who cares about me!"

"My wand Lucius, and shut your son up,"

The man shoots a pitiful look at his son before moving to get the wand at pass it to her

"He's right. No harm comes to her. You will not hurt my daughter Bellatrix," her mother's voice is even more shocking than Draco's everyone practically gaping at her

"It's not the time Elizabeth," her father speaks

"I will not stand by and watch her torture my child!"

"Send them to the dungeons," Bellatrix orders, wormtail skulking in from the shadows to escort them "leave the other girl. She might have a few answers for me,"

Ron's screams of protests and begs can be heard from downstairs. Draco physically cringes away at the sight of Emily's best friend, a girl he'd grown to respect, a witch he had gone to school with, he'd seen cry over boys and watched laugh with her friends screaming in pain.

He knows it's too risky to try and get to the dungeons now, planning to go by there later in the hopes to talk to her. That is until a loud crack sounds. Dobby.
