Hermione awakes from the sun glistening on her face, she felt a pit in her stomach thinking about the way Draco had treated her the previous day. She was hurt, she knew that he was quiet reserved, and had a thing for teasing Harry. But she thought he had changed. In her mind she was wrong.

Hermione proceeded to get ready for the day, then made her way to the Great Hall with Ginny, they crossed paths with Draco at the Great Hall entrance, but Hermione didn't take any notice of Draco, it was like he wasn't there, like he was a house ghost. Draco gave a puzzled look to the back of Hermione's head. She was usually beaming and couldn't wait to greet Draco, but today, nothing. No reaction to his presence, he felt a hole in his chest like someone had reached right into his chest and pulled out his heart.

Draco shook off his encounter with Hermione and walked over to the Slytherin table, seating himself next to Adrian and Pansy.

"So Draco, need someone to keep you company for the walk to Hogsmeade?", Pansy smirks, snaking her arm around Draco's, Draco immediately scoffs and pulls his arm away from Pansy's.

"I walk alone Parkinson", Draco says irritated, he didn't want to walk with Pansy, or alone. He wanted to walk with Hermione, he wanted something that he could never have.

"What's gotten into you lately Draco? You always seem so tense?", Adrian questions, exchanging looks with Pansy.

"You asking so many questions, that's what's gotten into me?", Draco says taking a slice of toast and standing from the table.

"See you around", Draco says, walking away glancing over for one last look at Hermione. She was laughing at a joke Ron had made, her laugh was so comforting and her smile was so beautiful Draco thought, he faced forward and continued to walk out of the Great Hall.

The snow outside was falling as students gathered in the quad awaiting the house Professors to escort them to Hogsmeade.
Draco stood alone leaning against the cold brick wall behind him. His was looking around for someone and he had found her, that someone was Hermione.

She was stood with Harry, Fred and George, and Ron who had his arm around her. How Draco's blood began to boil, Ron had his arm around her and she was smiling. Draco felt a warmth of jealousy take over him. 'How dare he touch her' Draco thought to himself. Draco looked away, the only thing that would stop him from going over there and ripping the two apart.

The Professors finally arrived and students started following the teachers out of Hogwarts. Draco was last out of the school grounds, he trailed along keeping his hands in his pockets attempting to keep them warm.

They arrived at Hogsmeade where students and teachers immediately separated, Draco wondered around not knowing where to go or what to do.

Draco decided to go into the three broomsticks to get himself a drink as he was feeling rather parched. How Draco wishes he didn't enter the three broomsticks. In the corner where the three of them Harry, Ron and Hermione, Hermione and Ron looking closer than ever.

Draco was starting to miss Hermione. If Draco hadn't yelled at Hermione and said those things he did, Hermione would still be trying to talk to him, which she thought he didn't like, but he did.

Draco sat there watching, watching his heart getting ripped out of his chest.

Suddenly Hermione looked towards Draco, she had caught him staring, usually she would smile or wave, this time she snarled and glared and paid her attention back to Ron.

Draco was furious, at her, he was furious that she was spending so much time with that Weasley he thought. He thought how could someone as beautiful and smart as her go for someone like that. But then he thought to himself, he was no better, and at least Ron was nice to her.

Again Draco found himself beating himself up about how he had treated her.
Draco left the three broom sticks and was sat outside a bench head in hands with tears running down his face. Draco felt a warm body then sit beside him, no it couldn't be.

"Hermione?" Draco says, shooting his head up, only making eye contact with a quizzical Pansy.

"Do I look like that stupid mud-blood?" Pansy laughs, intertwining her hand with Draco's. Draco immediately snatches his hand out of Pansy's and begins to wipe it on his trousers.

"Shut up Parkinson, and what did I say about touching me!", Draco shouts, before standing and walking away in a hurry, trying to get away from Pansy.

Draco thought long and hard, he thought about how it's becoming more and more obvious, Pansy for sure knew something was up.
But he couldn't help it the way Pansy talked about Hermione made him so mad.

Pansy Parkinson was a fellow Slytherin, she was a pure blood, someone Draco was expected to be with. Pansy was so up herself and snobby, Draco hated being around her, but usually he faked a smile because he had to keep up his reputation.

Back at the castle Draco was taking a hot steamy shower. He stood with his hands up on the railing with his head hanging. Flashbacks of the times Hermione spoke, or even smiled at him. Thinking about those good times helped him escape the bad ones for a moment.

Draco turned off the hot water and began to dry himself with a towel. Suddenly the laughter of Adrian and Blaise filled the echoing bathroom. Draco's head had shot up to the realisation of what was happening. Draco jumped out of the shower and saw the sight he knew he was getting, his clothes were gone.

Draco tighten the towel around his waist before grabbing his toothbrush and running out of the bathroom.

Draco was now naked with nothing but a towel running down the halls of the castle. Draco rounded a corner were he saw none other than Hermione, great just who he wanted to see at this moment he thought to himself.

Ginny, Angelina and Hermione were sat on a bench with books in their hands and their jaws dropped.

"Wow Malfoy, where have you been hiding that gorgeous bod", Angelina smirks laughing. Hermione was definitely looking, she was looking at the definition on Draco's toned torso. She was thinking about what it would feel like to rub her hands down them, she shook her head and pretended to carry on reading, looking up to see Draco scurrying off from the back.

He's such a dork she thought to herself.
