Chapter 20

Perries Pov
I woke up and I was so excited it was only 7am and I was already wide awake. Alex was beside me and was just staring at me.

P: How long u been staring at me
A: not that long why
P: Its weird to think someone was watching me sleep
A: meh. U r so cute when sleeping
P: We still have a few hours before we need to leave
A: What time do we need to leave
P: Around 10
A: 3 more hours
P: Yeah
A: How about we get ready and then I'll make breakfast
P: Sounds good

On the way
Perries Pov
We were sat in the car on the way to the scan and I was so excited. We were sat just singing and laughing to Little mix which happens very often. We got out of the car and headed inside.

I was lay on the bed while they pushed the thing into my belly finding the baby.

D: Do you want to know the gender now, put it in an envelope or not know at all.
P: Can we have it in an envelope please
D: of course. I'm going to turn the screens of while I find out.
P: Okay
D: I've found out the gender so I am going to turn the screens back on and do the rest of the checks while I've sent some photos to be printed.

D: I think I know the answer but use have stopped performing now haven't use
P: Yeah our last one was obviously the Manchester festival and that didn't go to plan.
D: I heard about that. Is Leigh-Ann back to normal now
P: Yeah she's doing good
D: That's good then. Anyways I'm all finished and the baby is healthy. Is there anything you want to ask
P: Are headaches normal
D: Did u get them before you were pregnant
P: Yeah just not as frequently or as bad
D: How often r they
P: Daily
D: You are expected to get more headaches when pregnant. You are having more then the usual person beacause you already used to have them.
P: That's all then
D: I hope you have a lovely day

Perries Pov
We had just got out of the scan and were back in the car. I couldn't believe I had the gender and I just wanted to open up the small bit of paper. However Alex made sure I couldn't even peep by putting it in the boot. He knew me far too well. We were going to get powder cannons from a company we booked for before we find out later.

It was 12pm when we arrived back at ours and we were so excited. People aren't arriving till around 3pm other then my mam who might be here a bit earlier. I couldn't wait to pull the string and it to come out pink. Well I hope it comes out pink or Alex will be boasting about it.

I got changed into nicer clothes, did my makeup and hair before waiting downstairs. My mam came around 1:30pm and helped us set everything up. My mam also thought it was a girl and had stuck a pink sticker on herself.

Alex's Pov
I couldn't wait to see what gender the baby was and I just hoped it was a boy. I wasn't really that bothered though and I knew Perrie would be very happy if if was a girl.

I also had planned to propose to Perrie today and only her dad and Andre knew. I had asked him a while ago if it was okay and Andre was there when I bought the ring which was still at his and he was bringing it with him. Her dad wasn't able to make the gender reveal as he was in Germany with work so we were going to send him a video. Pez wasn't that bothered that he wasn't here as she bearley saw him anywyas.

Jades Pov
I was super excited to go to Perries house where she was hosting her gender reveal party. She had been talking about it for weeks and weeks and I don't think we could wait any longer. She desperately wanted a girl however I had a feeling it was a boy but it was a 50/50 guess. I hopped in the car and drove over. It's only a 10 minute drive so I might be slightly early.

Leigh-Anns Pov
Me and Andre were both getting ready to go to go to Perries. I walked past his draw which was open and it jogged my memory back to the ring. The ring wasn't there and I tho k I know where it might be going. If Andre has already did it and there is a ring.

L: IS ALEX PROPOSING TO PERRIE
A: Yeah but don't say anything
L: I obviously won't.
A: Took you long enough to work out
L: Well I found the ring yesterday and then forgot about it.
A: We should leave or where going to be late
L: I'm so much more excited now
A: U have to much energy
L: I know let's go

An hour later
Perries Pov
Everyone who we invited was here. My mam, Caitlin, Jonnie, Ellie, Jade, Jesy, Leigh-Ann, Andre. My mam his mam and his brother. They were all in the garden sat around talking and I couldnt wait any longer.
P: Where doing it in 5 minutes

Alex's Pov
I had got the ring of Andre and his it in my pocket. I was so excited and nervous for both things.

Jades Pov
Perrie and Alex were both stood with there popping things. They would either have blue powder if it was a boy and pink powder if it was a girl. They started the countdown and I just couldn't wait to find out.
