Chapter 35

Leigh-Anns Pov
Today was the day and I couldn't be more excited. There was more and more rumours going around now that the twins were due today since changing the Watford line ups. It wouldn't be long before I could share my babies with the rest of the world. Andre was already dressed and looked super excited about today.

Once I had got dressed we packed the car putting both car seats in. It felt so much more real having everything in the car and ready. We were both talking non-stop all the way to the hospital. The girls would be coming as well to keep me company. I didn't know how long my labour was going to last however I hoped it was short.

Once we arrived at the hosptial they did one final ultrasound to make sure everything was okay before I went to the room I would give birth in. They told me it would be another hour before someone would be able to come and break my waters as there was lots of emergencies. Jade, Jesy, Perrie and Alex all arrived. Alex was talking to Andre while I spoke with the girls.

JN: Does it feel real yet
L: More then ever
P: I'm so jealous
JT: It will be your turn soon
JN: I can't wait to find out there names
L: Not long now

Soon the doctor came in and the girls and Alex had to leave so there was more space in the room. They broke my waters and it was now just a waiting game until my body went into labour. I had been warned the contractions could take a while to start depending on how ready they are to come out.

Everyone came back in and we all ate some food and I felt amazing. I was definitely glowing and super ready to end my pregnancy. I just wanted my body back to normal and to be able to do things for myself again. We were looking theough all the scan photos and me and Andre were deciding which baby would get which name or if we would decide when there born.

I felt a tightening pain in my stomach which went away a minute later. I wondered wether that was a contraction or just my body preparing. 10 minutes later I had the same pain and I must of been pulling some funny faces because everyone was staring at me blankly.

Andre: U okay babes
L: Yeah but my contractions are starting
P: I'm so excited
JN: How far apart
L: the first one was 10 minutes ago so it looks like where just getting started.
Andre: Its going to be a long day
L: Yeah it is

Leigh-Anns Pov
The nurse had came in to check me and I was 1cm Dilated. My contractions were slowly getting closer and closer. I knew i probably wouldn't be able to get much rest after all of this so went to sleep. Everyone stayed and just talked to eachother.

I must of had a few hours of sleep because when I woke up it was 1pm and everyone was eating food. They had brought me some stuff back however I wasn't really that hungry. I felt another pain shoot through me and this one was worse then the others. I just squeezed Andres hand while the girls spoke to me.

I went to the bathroom and Jade came with me to see if I needed help with anything. As we were on our way back from the bathroom I felt another contraction. They were getting alot more painful and closer together. We just stood there in the middle of the coridoor while I held onto her arm. After we made our way back to the room.

An hour later
I had just been checked again and I was now 4cm so nearly half way. I had been in labour for only 3 hours but it felt like forever. I had also been giving some gas and air to help with the pain. Jesy had just had a call saying that her mam needed her. She didn't know what for so she left almost immediately afterwards.

It was now 3pm and I was halfway. This was definitely the worst pain I had ever been in and I wanted it to be over. Jade had a date planned with Jordan so I told her to go and enjoy it. I was quite happy for the company she had gave me all day. I was talking to Perrie who was sat on the sofa with Alex playing with her hair.

Perrie and me were both discussing Weddings and the boys were talking about football which wasn't a shock. It was about 4pm when Perrie started to get tired. Alex and Perrie both went home giving just me and Andre some time together. Andres phone then started ringing and he started speaking. It was just my mam checking up on me.

D=Debbie (Leighs mam)

A: Hello
D: Hi how's my baby
A: In pain but she's alright
D: How far along is she
A: Last time she was checked she was 5cm
D: Aww my poor baby
A: Do u want me to put her on the phone
D: Yeah if u don't mind

L: Hello 
D: Hi baby. How r u
L: in pain but other then that I'm fine.
D: Is Andre looking after you
L: Yes he is very well
D: I'll leave u guys to it. I'm only a call away
L: Okay love you
D: Love u too

I took the gas and air as shooting pains went around my stomach and theough my back. The pain was getting really hard to handle and I just wanted my girls now.

A: r u sure u don't want the epidural
L: Yeah I want to do it without it
A: Okay if your sure
L: R u okay
A: Yeah I'm really excited. Dont worry about me
L: I'd be more excited if I didn't have to give birth.

This is all Leighs Pov but I liked it like this. Sorry she hasn't had them yet u will have to wait x
