Chapter 39

Perries Pov
Me and Alex had left the room and were now walking around. We were going up some stairs when an irritating contraction went through my body. I just stood there holding onto Alex as he muttered sweet words to me. I just wish she would flip so that I wasn't as worried as I am now. The thought of a c-section was still frightening to me and was now all I could think about. I knew we probably didn't have long to get her to flip. It wasn't the easiest job walking up and down stairs and round corridors when your in labour however I would do anything to have a natural labour.

A: U sure u still want to do this
P: Yes
A: Your going to cause yourself so much pain
P: It will be worth it
A: Come on then

We walked round the corridors for at least an hour and I didn't know how much longer I was going to be able to cope. They were getting closer together very quickly. We popped in to Leigh-Anns room when we went past to see if everything was going okay.

L: How are use
P: Sore, tired and I just want my baby
L: She'll be here soon
JT: Still the wrong way
P: I'm pretty sure she is
JN: It will be fine

Alex's Pov
Perrie was definitely alot more anxious then I thought she was going to be. I thought she was now fine with possibly having to have a c-section but she was shaking every time people mentioned it. We headed back to our room and she was close to tears. The doctor came in and said Perries labour was moving alot quicker then in most cases and if she wanted her to flip she would probably have to do it in the next hour or so.

Perrie decided to try bouncing on the ball instead of walking as it was easier and Olivia could still flip. After 45 minutes of bouncing Perrie was extremely tired and I could tell it was draining her and this definitely wasn't  the best option for her.

A: Perrie u r killing yourself
P: I'm fine
A: No Perrie
P: I'm scared of it though
A: How many c-section do you think have happened in this hospital
P: thousands
A: And how many were successful
P: Probably most of them
A: So why do u think soemthing will happen
P: I don't know. How about I just ask about it
A: She'll be back in about 10 or 20 minutes is why don't we go sit with Leigh and them for a bit
P: Yeah

20 minutes later
Perries Pov
I was lay on the bed while the doctor was doing my final ultra sound. I suddenly felt like I was going to be sick and at that exact moment on the screen you could see Olivia flip. It was such a cool thing to watch.

D: As you can probably tell she has just flipped but
P: But what
D: U have been I labour for 3 hours and it is moving very quickly. your contractions are very close together however your baby girl isn't anywhere near being fully Dilated
P: What would this mean
D: There is a high chance she will be fine but she will need kept in hospital still for observations. It will also be a very painful delivery.
A: Okay
D: I'm going to let you two discuss it and I'll be back soon

A: What do u want to do
P: What do I want to do
A: Yeah your the one delivering it
P: I don't want anything to happen but I'm still to scared for the C-section.
A: Do you want to try natural
P: Yeah
A: Then I'll help you through the pain
P: What if I hurt her though
A: She'll be fine she has you as a Mam she will be strong.
P: Okay ahhhhh
A: I'll go and get her again
P: Thanks

An hour later
Alex's Pov
The doctor wasn't lying when she told Perrie this was going to be hard. She was in so much pain and her contractions were all ready really strong. She had dilated fast and was halfway. Jesy had came to see her and give her someone else to talk to and focus on. I was so proud of her and couldn't believe how amazing she was doing

P: I really can't do this
A: U can Pez baby
J: Think of everything you have did so far. It was all leading up to this
A: Do u want me to phone your mam
P: If u don't mind

D: Hello darling
P: Hi
D: R u alright
P: Not the best question to ask when I'm half way through labour
D: R u scared
P: Yes
D: It will be fine don't worry. I was so scared for u and Jonnie but it was all okay
P: Thanks
D: It's fine do you need anything
P: No where good
D: Good luck then my baby. You've got this
P: Love you
D: Love u to but can u pass me to Alex
P: Here my mam wants you

Alex left the room and went to talk to Perries mam. He knew that if he specifically told her to give him the phone she was going to say something she didn't want Perrie to hear.

A: Hello
D: Hi how is she doing really
A: She's in pain and really scared
D: Did she ever consider the c-section
A: No she was to anxious
D: Okay I know I've just told Perrie both my deliveries went smoothe however they didn't exactly. Both Perrie and Jonnie were both struggling to breathe. I did when I was born and it's just something that seems to be following us all.
A: Okay I'll try and keep her calm and keep you updated. We've been told we are probably going to be here for a few days due to observation
D: Is this because of how long she took to flip
A: Yeah but Perries calling do I'm going to go
D: Okay send her my love

I've wrote this chapter about a thousand times and I've decided on this. I don't know if this is a thousand percent realistic but I hope u like it still xx
