Kevin's P.O.V.
Emily is going through a tough time now and I can't do it anymore. I really do love her, but I can't deal with her now. Because of everything going on with getting a job and my dad pressuring me about college, I need full attention towards my life and career. As much as I hate to do it, I have to break up with her. I know that she's going to cry a river for me to drown in, but it's too late. She'll probably try to kill me with her devious blue eyes. Those eyes have intimidated girls and boys into doing crazy things, but I have to try my best to not let her do it again...
Suddenly, my phone vibrated in my hand showing a new text message across the top.
Emily: hey...can we meet at the park?¿
Perfect. I can just say that we should take a break. We can always stay friends.
Sure, just say that and watch myself hit the concrete. Em is not the physical type, but she can if she tries.
Because I live near the park, I decided to walk. Em lives about a good 15-20 minutes away from the park. Obviously it would take her longer to get there.
I am just hoping that she wants to me to just talk.
*Park*
Fortunately, when I got there she was no where in sight. I sat down in a wooden bench near a pond to wait until she came.
*10 minutes later*
Emily walked towards me with something in her hand.
Wow, she looked amazing. I can't believe that I'm going lose her.
She sat down next to me with an exuberant look on her face. She planted a heartfelt, lipgloss filled kiss on my lips and smiled sweetly.
In unison we said,"I think we should talk."
Giddily, we both laughed lightly.
Again we harmonized,"You first."
I pointed towards her signaling for her to go first.
"I think that we should talk about you and me."
"Yeah Em, I was just thinking about that."
"Kevin, I think that we should break up."
