I woke up the next morning ready to go into the city. Because both of my parents had lost it, they fired all of the staff except for our housekeeper, Wilma. I stretched in my Victoria Secret pajamas reaching over to get my new phone, iPhone 6s in rose gold. Honestly, I wanted the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. The camera quality is really good and I like the built in apps. Passbooks? What is passbooks and why am I using it? The emojis kill me but, pick your poison. My lock screen, me and Fergie lounging on a plane to London last Christmas, was darkened by notifications from Twitter and iMessage. I didn't even want to see what people were saying about me on Twitter. I opened messages from Isadora (mom), August (dad), Sarah, Rowan (riley from girl meets world), and Eva (mylifeaseva). When your sister goes to every Teen Choice Awards show, you meet some really cool celebrities. Eva is really cool and looks so cute on a budget. Rowan is so funny, I can't even talk to her without starting to laugh. The messages read:
Isadora: you have a photo shoot for Seventeen magazine at 3
Isadora: meet at Panera for dinner after :)August: i'm going to japan for a few weeks
August: bring you back some tea and clothes
Me: thanks august, can u try finding a cartoon backpack over there¿
August: sure thing sweetie, anything for my little girlSarah: sorry on the way we ended
Sarah: meet at Starbucks 2 chat
Me: sure, whateverRowan: hey em!
Rowan: up for a sleepover this friday?
Rowan: broadcasted on disney ;)Eva: hey lovebug, collab on youtube?
Me: sure...diy shirts or something
Eva: okidokie alligatorThis is the real reason why celebrities go crazy. Pressure. One simple word with a line of destruction behind it. Pressure to be perfect. Pressure to make everyone happy. Pressure to be someone else. Pressure to fit the world's image.
Finally, I got out of bed and went into my closet. Last spring my parents felt bad because I failed a test. They were convinced that it was my tutor's fault and fired her. That weekend they had a construction crew tearing down walls for my new shoe closet.
Before, I just had one narrow stretch of clothes on either side the walls. I usually kept my shoes in the boxes to preserve the leather and suede of my shoes. I switched my shoes out throughout the seasons. When it got cold, I put all of my sandals and flats up in an empty linen closet. As soon as it got to 60 degrees, they came back out again. During the process, I usually gave away shoes that were no longer in style or didn't go with any of my present clothes. August and Isadora would give me $500 on my card to go shopping for new stuff at the beginning of fall and spring. I got some good shoes on those trips. Burgundy Timberland's, Steve Madden boots, and Nike Hurraches were my favorites.
I checked the weather on my phone to see sunny weather with 60 degree temperatures. Let me think about what I'm going to do today.
11:30- meet Sarah at Starbucks
12:00- go to central park to chill
1:00- meet with trainer
2:30- clean up for shoot
3:00- seventeen magazine shoot
7:00- dinner with Isadora
9:00- go see a movie
12:00- get home and sleepI decided on a fuzzy, purple sweater with black skinny jeans, and white Uggs. I curled my hair, put on my Pandora bracelet, and grabbed my pink Michael Kors purse with the fluffy ball on it. I kept my makeup simple with a BB Cream, filling in my brows, mascara, and lipgloss.
Purse Essentials: makeup bag, phone, earphones, cash, credit cards, and workout clothes.
Today was given all of the right ingredients to be a good day. Let's just hope it goes well.
