I pulled up to Kevin's apartment and started to walk upstairs.
We need to talk about my new "role" in Hollywood. These past few days have been crazy. Pretty Little Liars has me running around back and forth, all of the bodyguards and escorts make me just want to be alone, and my parents have been scrambling to get Ashley's finances worked out. But no matter how much is going on behind closed doors, the door still has to look pretty. I haven't had much time for Kevin lately and I think that his dad is going at him again. I can tell that he doesn't likes me, but everybody else seems to.
As for school, every girl that has ever watch Pretty Little Liars has been lining up at my locker for an autograph or a hint at who A is. It gets annoying after a while; all of these people wanting to be my friend, but not knowing the first thing about me.
I walked into his apartment
He greeted me with a cheery smile and a hearty hug. I smiled and sat down.
"I understand that we need to talk Em."
"Yeah."
"Well my dad is giving me until the rest of the month to leave."
"Leave?"
"Yeah, he is kicking me out of this place."
"Well I'm moving into Ashley's place this summer."
"I'll have to get a job soon."
"My dad can hire you for a few weeks."
"How much is the pay?"
"About $50 an hour, you only work 4-5 hours a day though," I continued "Tuesday through Thursday."
"So about $600 each week for how many weeks?"
"Three."
"$1800 is enough to cover rent, food, and gas."
"Great!""So about you and your celebrity lifestyle?"
"Well I have to make an appearance tonight," I shrugged my shoulder flirtatiously," want to come with?"
"Sure."
"Cool," I got up to leave,"pick me up at 8:30."I left his apartment to walk down to my car. As I reached the main entrance, flashing white lights blinded my view illuminating the sky. The paparazzi found me. Daringly, I put on a baseball cap stuffed in my purse and a pair of cheap Dollar Tree sunglasses. I knew that it wouldn't help much because they already knew that I was here, but it was worth a shot.
I stepped out and the reporters jumped at me with questions, photos, and if I had anything to do with my sister's death. Ridiculous. I smiled for pictures and answered with such a lovely phrase: I cannot answer any other questions without my parents present. I smiled one last time then drove home. This new life was crazy. The strange thing was this was what I always wanted, fame and everyone wanting to know me. I never wanted it like this though. The drama of just walking outside escalated to another level. Looking back on it, I kind of wished to be back at the top of highschool.
