Emily's P.O.V.

I let the words slip out of my mouth without thought. Breaking up with Kevin has never even come to mind until last night.

The night before last Kevin came over and left his laptop. I didn't realize until the next morning, and when I tried to call him it went to voicemail. This week I have to film Pretty Little Liars every other day to keep up with the new episodes, so they emailed me the script. After searching for my laptop, I couldn't find it so I just used his. I unlocked it with ease and went to his emails to logout and then login to mine. Something caught my eye, 5 new emails from the name: Janel Parrish. Something told me to not worry about it, but I couldn't stop myself. Reluctantly, I opened the emails one by one. The emails read things like: once we get Emily out of the way we can finally get what we wanted, I'll meet you there, and can't wait to see you babe. Janel? Really, Janel? She is probably one of the nicest girls on set, but this? Babe? I was Kevin's only babe for the past 5 months. I though that this must be a mistake, but I finally put the pieces together. Janel and Kevin had a plan to get me out of the way so that they could be together. Unbelievable.

So now I sit next to Kevin on this park bench as he stutters to come up with an answer.

"Em-Emily, why?"
"I saw the emails from Janel."
"You went through my emails!?"
"Yeah," I said coldly as I adjusted my purse in my lap."so you're going to tell me your little plan before I go to the tabloids and make this bigger than life."

He sighed frustratingly as he stared into my eyes with a look of defeat.

"I don't love you."

The words were said with such feeling and truth. Those 4 words seemed to destroy a small piece of my heart that had been built in the past few months. He lied to me when he said he loved me, he lied to me about everything. All for another girl that I have to see everyday. I have to talk to her. I am probably her best friend on TV.

I stared at him blankly and said,"Okay."

He stared into my eyes and opened his arms for a hug. Just for fun, as he leaned in, I got up and walked away. All of that time spent on 1 person who didn't even care. All of that time...

As I walked briskly towards my car, tears started to roll down my cheeks. Just as I was about to get in my car, a small group of girls came towards me with sparkly notepads and eager looks on their faces.

A tall blond started,"You're Ashley Benson from Pretty Little Liars?"
"Oh no, she was my sister," I fumbled with my keys awkwardly."I'm Emily Benson."
A brunette girl came in,"Oh I'm so sorry."
"Oh that's fine."
The blonde joined in,"You are still my idol."
I smiled kindly,"Thank you so much."
The brunette started again,"You are so skinny and pretty."
I chuckled lightly and smiled.
A black haired girl started,"I love you playing Hanna."
"Thank you."

After a stream of compliments, the girls finally left and I got in my car. All of the things that they said were true. They saw me how I wanted the world to see me; skinny, pretty, and rich. For some reason, I didn't feel good about it. Any girl will take a compliment gladly, but these felt different. The confusion between my dead sister and me set me off a bit too. Those girls were so nice and I was just living a lie. Acting like my sister to be an actress.

Don't forget to comment and vote. Thank you guys for all of the reads on this book. It means a lot to me and I'm very grateful for that.
