Ron POV
I felt Harry shake my arm.
"Come on," he whispered, "the girls will be waiting."
"Sorry," I said, climbing out of bed and slipping my shoes on. Harry had already picked up the invisibility cloak, which he had tucked up under his arm.
As we got up and started to make our way, our of the room, I paused, listening. It sounded like everyone was asleep but I wasn't convinced. The invisibility cloak would stop anyone following us though, right?

The girls were waiting when we got down to the common room.
"Hurry up," Ginny whispered.
"Sorry," Harry replied, "someone fell asleep."
"What? It's late."
Ginny just rolled her eyes and Harry unfolded the invisibility cloak, throwing it over us, and we set off towards the library.

Before long, we were hunting through the restricted section for a book on becoming animagi. We had already scoured the shelves across the rest of the library so now we were looking in the only place left.
This part always made me uncomfortable but we needed to do this.

After about half an hour of searching, Hermione gasped "Got it!"
We rushed over to see what she had found. The book was open on a page describing animagus transformations and the process to get there.
"Quick," Ginny said, handing her some parchment to copy it onto while we kept watch.
Hermione uttered a quiet spell which caused a replica of the pages to appear on the parchment and soon we were packing away.
Suddenly, there was the sound of a small cough. Small and barely audible, but definitely a cough. We froze. I gestured for Ginny and Harry to go one way around the bookcase and for Hermione to follow me the other. We got to the end of the aisle, wands drawn and Hermione mouthed a countdown. We jumped out and came face to face with Harry and Ginny. There was no one there.
We looked around, puzzled. I was sure I'd heard something.
"Come on," Harry said, "let's get out of here before someone really does find us." He threw the cloak over our heads and we crept away.

We made our way through the corridors but I still felt uneasy.
"This is going to sound stupid," I started, "because we're invisible, but I feel like we're being watched."
We paused and looked around but with nothing amiss, we just quickened our pace back to the tower.

Moments later me and Harry were making our way back up the stairs to the dorms.
As we entered, it looked just how we had left it. We climbed into our beds and curled up to sleep, as if nothing had happened.
