Ginny POV
It was the day after the third full moon of the year and we were visiting Lupin in the hospital wing. It was hard seeing him so weak and broken, the transformations getting harder as he got older and, with less friends to keep him from hurting himself, the scars that littered his face and neck became increasingly apparent.
He smiled at us. "You don't have to do this guys." As we turned up with chocolates and flowers.
"Oh they totally do." Said Sirius, from his perch on the end of the bed as he leaned over and stole a chocolate. If anyone else did that, Lupin would've had their heads, but seen as it was Sirius he just rolled his eyes.
We continued to talk for a while- it was the weekend so we had no lessons but soon Madame Pomfrey came to usher us out.
"Mr Lupin needs his rest now." She told us, herding us away. "God, it's like having the lot of you back." She pointed at Sirius, trying and failing to keep a straight face.
As we all made it into the corridor, she slammed the door behind us.
Now we had stopped rushing, I noticed Sirius limping as we made our way along the corridor. Hermione noticed too.
"Are you okay?" She asked him. Sirius seemed shocked- it clearly wasn't very often he got asked that after one of Remus' transformations.
"I'm fine," he told us. "It is just harder than it used to be. He gets carried away more often. It's not his fault though- you can't tell him." Panic crossed his eyes at the prospect of this.
"We won't." I reassured him. I wished we could help, but there would be no way we could. Unless... no that was a stupid idea.

We got to the end of the corridor and went out separate ways- Sirius to the teachers quarters and us to Gryffindor Tower.
When I was sure he was out of earshot, I turned to the others.
"This might be a crazy idea, but what if-" I looked around to make sure nobody was listening, only seeing a cat, I continued- "we became animagi."
The others looked at me in shock for a moment but then Harry backed me up. "That's actually not a bad idea." Hermione nodded too, but she was a bit unsure- clearly weighing up the possible costs. Ron finished it off:
"What the hell, why not."
With that decision made we began to walk off, when I noticed the cat. Seeing a cat in Hogwarts was not unusual in itself but this one was watching us- the same way McGonagall does when in cat form.
Before I could say anything, it got up and ran off. Still- I was uneasy- could someone have overheard our plans...
