I sat in the library reading a book on Shadow spells. They were more focused on concentration than I thought. Yet I couldn't help, but struggle to understand too well. I then remembered what my parents told me. I needed a tutor.

I decided to get up and put the book back. It was on a high shelf with a ladder, but I was nervous to climb back up it since it was on the higher end. Gripping the book, I climbed up and reached for the open slot the book would be placed in.

The slot was higher than I could reach so I stepped further up the ladder. I leaned and slid the book into the slot. Just before I got back to my feet on the ladder I slipped off. Just as I gasped, I heard the same high pitched vaporwave sound. I stopped squinting to see I landed in Beomgyu's arms.

There was a silence as we looked into each other's eyes. I quickly shut my mouth once I saw how annoyed he looked. Just then he put me down back onto my feet and dusted himself off. Before I could say anything, he began to walk off.

I bit my lip and watched him walk away. He then turned into another aisle of the library and disappeared in there. With a grip of the bottom of my jacket, I turned the other way and looked on the board outside. Maybe there'd be answers to something about a tutor.

There wasn't anything just to my fortunatate misfortune. My mind began to wonder off once again. How was he just there when I fell? And why do we keep crossing paths so frequently? It was surely strange, but no reasonable answers came to mind. Other than just a huge coincidence.

Maybe there would be something about a tutor in the principal's office, but then again, I wasn't sure where that was either. The principal did show me and I knew what it looked like—it's just I forgot so quickly. I shifted my eyes to a random guy that was walking by.

"Sir!" I called out.

He turned around, "Yeah?"

"Do you know where the principal's office is?" I asked.

He looked up and then at me and nodded, "Yeah, you looking for it?"

I nodded as well.

"You don't look like the type to remember directions," he smiled, "So follow me."

I frowned feeling a bit offended, but couldn't argue. He wasn't entirely right, but not entirely wrong. He was taller than a lot of people we had passed on our way down the halls. It was entirely different from the guy from earlier, but I couldn't expect everyone to look the exact same, right?

He forced a flyer into his hands and began to read it as he walked in front of me. Once again I was just a lost puppy following a stranger. It made me wonder if I could do that too. It may have been with certain people or their magic sources.

The stranger I was following was in a uniform of blue and white which symbolized the magic of cold. Maybe it was somehow circulated to the wind or the ability to force things into your own hand. Was I capable of some of these powers or was I indifferent?

"Well," he stopped in front of a gray door, "This is it, but you've probably missed something."

"Missed what?" I questioned.

He slid the paper into my hands and then opened the door for me, "No time for chit chat. I'm sure they're waiting for you if that's it."

I stared at him for a moment before going in. That was super weird to me. Yet it was a very kind gesture. Just before I could go further down the hall, I heard the stranger call out for me, or which I assumed. I turned towards him.

"My name is Soobin," he smiled, "by the way."

I cleared my throat, "Yinjae."

"Delicate!" he chuckled.

I nodded awkwardly before turning the corner into another hall. There was a bulletin on the wall of upcoming school events and such. There wasn't anything about a tutor nor anything about help. It was just my luck really. I wouldn't know my grades until the end of the week either.

Our grades were to be posted publically once the week was over. Or at least that's what was said during the orientation on the first day. I suppose it made sense. It could encourage students, yet discourage since there were insecurities.

My hands gripped the paper in my hands. Why did he give me the paper? With a blantant sniff, I opened up the folded paper and began to read. It was just his information written on the back of a library flyer. I shook my head and shoved it into my jacket pocket.

I began to make my way down the hall ignoring the stares I got from some staff for being in here. Maybe I wasn't supposed to be here at this time or they were judt surprised. Really I couldn't blame them. I was new and already walking every inch of this school.

There was a chill that went down my spine as I opened the door to let myself out. The same girl I saw with pink eyes was just across the hall grabbing a water bottle from the bench. She shoved it into her bag and quickly exited the scene.

She was mysterious, but she gave me random chills as well. I wasn't too sure what that was about. Somehow I felt out of place since I was new, but in place since I got help so easily. It was still very weird, but I didn't overlook it too hard.

Wasn't school full of fear from others? Then again, it was only the first week of school. There was still plenty of time to get pounded on eventually. I just began to head back to the dorm end of the school since I was feeling a bit worn out from roaming so much.

From my pereprevial vision I saw someone was following me slightly. This made me rush to a whole other hall out of fear. Perhaps I thought too soon. My walking pace began to speed up. Noticeably theirs did as well. Finally, I decided to turn a corner and lean against the wall to catch my breath.

Just as I turned to look around the corner, I saw that there was no one. I took a deep breath turning back and slid down the hall wall. No one was around nor seemed to be walking this way so I pulled out the flyer that was given to me and examined it.

I stood to my feet and facepalmed at my own paranoia. Taking a deep breath, I began to walk back the way I came. There wasn't a ton of time before the assembly later on and I had to do some more research, but I also needed to look for a tutor.

I decided to go look for Soobin. He was offering to be my tutor, right? So there wouldn't be a reason to not search. Quickly, I looked at the paper and began my search for the numbers above the doors. They all were faculty rooms or club rooms.

Just before I could turn a corner, a door opened quickly and almost hit me in the face. Out came Beomgyu with messy hair and a scratched cheek. His clothes were messed up as well. He gave me a disliked look and adjusted his jacket.

We locked eyes for a moment before Soobin and another guy came out. They all looked roughed up. Did they have a fight or something? Soobin adjusted his tie and gave me a smile. Meanwhile the unknown guy dusted himself off and stood behind the two of them.

"You were looking for me, right?" Soobin asked.

"Uhh," I gulped, "Yeah."

Beomgyu scoffed and began to walk away. Soobin turned around towards him, but Beomgyu teleported out of sight. I stood waiting on Soobin to turn around, but he seemed to be raging on the inside before he slowly turned.

"Sorry," he said, "We've been having problems with the report tubes."

"Report tubes?" I questioned.

"The tubes we send notes to classrooms with," he said, "They're a huge hassle."

I nodded, still confused.

"I think I should go," the stranger said.

"See you at the assembly then, Jinu!" Soobin smiled.

"Yeah," he shoved his hands in his pockets and walked off.

"So shall we schedule a time for after school?" Soobin asked.
