"Where in the world are we?" Yeonjun said shakily.
"Aww, crap!" I whined.
I didn't intend for Yeonjun to get dragged into the magical TV with me. And I had wished I had listened to Beomgyu reading the directions earlier because I had no idea how to get out. Yeonjun gave me a concerned and worried look. I raised an eyebrow.
"You don't know how to get out of here?" He yelled.
"Where'd you get that from?" I asked.
"By, uh," he stammered, "t-the look on on your face!"
I crossed my arms, but Yeonjun pointed at the door we were next to. It was white with a sign above it saying "Entrance." We both nodded towards each other and decided to go through it. Once we did, we went into the outdoors. We seemed to be in a modern city.
There were flashing buildings and the streets were busy. Yeonjun let out a little sigh of amazement. The setting seemed familiar, but I wasn't entirely sure where we were. Yeonjun eagerly looked around to examine. I ran after him. It was better we weren't by ourselves split up.
"Do you know where we are or something?" I asked.
"You've never seen this drama?" Yeonjun questioned.
"What?" I questioned, "Which one."
"If I'm correct," he smirked, "You gotta-OH man, is that Habaek?"
"Habaek?" I questioned once more.
Yeonjun covered my mouth and dragged me with him into the alley out of sight. He then let go and held a finger to his lips. I cocked my head around to see wherever he had been looking before. I saw a tall man wearing a suit with a larger, but shorter man next to him. He looked like a peasant.
I was unsure of who they were, but didn't want to interfere. Yeonjun was smiling brightly. I stood confused. A woman seemed to walk up to them. She looked displeased. Maybe she was angry with them or upset about something.
"So-ah," Yeonjun swooned.
We both jumped at the tapping we heard from above us. Our names also seemed to be called out to. Looking up, we saw Soobin and Beomgyu tapping on our sky, but their screen. That's what we were separated by.
"Why are they speaking English?" Yeonjun asked.
"You can hear them?" I asked.
"You can't?" he looked at me.
I shook my head confused.
"Why can I hear them in English," Yeonjun looked at me, "but you can't hear them at all?"
I shrugged as he gave me a dramatic look. He then looked up at the sky and began to shout if they could hear him. They looked at each other and then spoke to each other. Yeonjun only stared as they conversated. I peeped my head around the corner. The people were gone.
"What?" Yeonjun pointed up, "Beomgyu and Soobin are gone!"
"What are we gonna do now?" I asked.
Yeonjun thought for a moment. A bright light appeared from behind us. I turned and stood back with amazement. It was the door with the exit sign overhead of it. Yeonjun and I looked at each other before agreeing to open it. The world around us became bright.
I opened my eyes to see Beomgyu, Soobin, and Yeonjun. We all sighed of relief. I decided to quickly turn the TV off. We didn't need to be going through that again. Although it was short, it could have been way worse than what we thought.
