[Beomgyu POV]

My heart ached as I watched the fog drag back her faster than it came. There wasn't anything I could do. I couldn't chase it. I couldn't use my powers. I couldn't stop it. I couldn't do anything. I was more helpless than anything.

I fell to my knees and ran my hands through my hair. There wasn't any emotion I could show. It was more than impossible. Thanks to the curse they brought upon me. I wanted to be free, but I wanted to be free with her. It was too late.

I sat on my knees with tears running down my face. If I could scream my frustration out, I would. This wasn't the last. I just had to find a place to warm up and I could try again. I've done it 12,439 times before. I could get struck with pain again.

Just as I rose to my knees the ground shook. There was an explosion in the distance. In the air there was black, white, and green fog that came out. A sudden breakage unclenched around my heart. I let out an ear-piercing scream than turned into sobbing.

-

A year had passed since I could feel again. A year had passed since all I could feel was sadness. A year had passed since I could last use my powers. It was only a year and all my free time went into figuring out how to get to her again. This wasn't the last, right?

I sat bouncing my leg on a park bench. Every time I felt anxious, I'd come here to clear my head. It'd work after a few hours or so. I still hadn't gotten used to living in the human world. After all, I was raised in the hell realm. It's name meant it's life style for sure.

Somehow I dared the thought that I wouldn't let cross my mind come clear to my face. If she hadn't of died a year ago, I would still be emotionless. I thanked her to myself. It wasn't going to help me get over what happened, but if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be living a normal life right now.

A small child ran up to me, "Hi!"

"Hi," I greeted.

"Do you like sunflower seeds?" he asked, "Mother gave me them, but I don't like them. Please take them!"

"Wouldn't your mother be mad?" I raised a brow.

He shrugged, "Oh well."

I smiled, "How about you give them to the birds."

"Okay!" he began throwing them.

I watched in peace as he threw the sunflower seeds around like confetti. A chuckled escaped my lips as he danced around. How I loved this feeling. After a few moments, some birds came flocking around him and pecked away at the seeds.

"Here," he said, "You can throw the rest."

I took the bag and looked at him for approval. With a deep breath I scattered a few. Suddenly I felt something on my shoulder. It was a raven. Those were unusual to see around here. I lifted the bag to it so it could take out what it wanted. Then it hit me.

"Yinjae," her name escaped my lips.
