I gasped as I woke up out of my sleep. There was a loud ringing in my ear. For a moment I thought I saw Beomgyu sitting in my chair, but it was just my robe. I raised a hand to my forehead. It was pouring sweat. There was a dream I had for the third night since Beomgyu disappeared again.
It always started with me running after Beomgyu. He ran so fast that I couldn't hardly catch up. He wasn't running from me, but I was following him. Looking back there was a cloud of black following us closely behind. Beomgyu was shouting something I could barely make out.
My eyes shifted to the clock on my nightstand. Today was the beginning of Christmas break. There was only a few hours until I went back to my town to stay with my parents. I was more than excited to since I hadn't seen them in a while.

"What would you want to reincarnate as?" I asked.
"Maybe a monkey," Beomgyu said, "You?"
"A butterfly," I said.
"A butterfly?" Beomgyu looked at me, "Why not be something better?"
"Like what?" I asked.
He thought for a moment. His stare was deep into the field we sat on. I looked up at the birds flying by. They gave me an idea, but I wanted to hear his first. Looking back at Beomgyu, I saw that he was watching them fly by, too.
"Be one of those birds," he said, "Land near me if you die first so I can throw bread at you."
"Wow," I rolled my eyes, "What if I want sunflower seeds?"
"Then I'll throw sunflower seeds," he nodded, "Do you think I'll waste bread on you and not Soobin? Tch."
Those were his last words before the first snow. I kept them to heart. If I reincarnate, I'll become one of those birds. I'll maybe even land on his shoulder to ensure it's me. He'll give me sunflower seeds. He'll know it's me, right?

"Hey, Yinjae!" I heard Chunha's voice.
I turned towards her. We stood in the quiet hall. She had the same old snobby look on her face as she did everyday. I gripped the handle of my bag as I was about to drop it. She waved for me to come towards her. Obeying, I did.
"You've got a lot of explaining to do when we get there," she said grabbing my arm.
Before I knew it we were in an icy cave. It was unfamiliar and freezing. My bag was no longer in my hand. I guess I dropped it on our way here. We were surrounded by crystal mounds and ice cycles that hung from the ceiling.
She basically threw me onto a metal chair. I could feel ice storm my ankles and hands. I was cuffed by ice. Panic went through me. Where was I? What was happening? What was my cause of being here? Looking around I saw everyone Beomgyu warned me about.
"Was it Beomgyu who told you?" Soobin yelled.
"Told me what?" I asked.
"Don't play dumb," Paenji was loud, but calm, "Yeonjun's telepathy, Soobin's manipulation, Chunha's pyrokinesis, and Yi's mirroring? You knew about them all."
"Chunha's pyrokinesis?" I questioned puzzledly.
Chunha gave a wide eye at Paenji.
"Apologies," she said, "Nevertheless you know too much."
"Are you going to kill me?" I questioned.
Chunha chuckled, "Kill you? Only if we have to."
I examined everyone's faces. Soobin seemed to have that neutral face he always showed, Paenji and Chunha shared a ticked look, Yi seemed bored as ever, and Yeonjun looked sad. What was he sad about? He wasn't the one restrained.
