Today was the beginning of my training. I was excited, but nervous since I didn't know how exactly it'd work. However I put trust into my parents. My focus was all on this training since it was real. Now that I knew it was real.

We weren't gonna train at home since it was too small. My mother even suggested an excluded outdoor area. My eyes shifted from tree to tree as the car rushed by. I assumed we were gonna go out into the middle of no where.

It was still slightly early in the morning, 8:50 to be exact, and I wasn't even tired this time. I leaned on the seat and stared at the ceiling of the car. It's gray bristles were stained with all sorts of drinks from bumpy roads. No one ever bothered to clean it.

The ride was long and boring, but I didn't mind. It gave me time to think over what journey I was about to take. A quest to a new life that I never even thought about. Suddenly the car came to a halt causing me to hit my face against the back of my mother's seat.

My mother turned around, "That's what happens when you don't put on a seat belt."

I faked spitting on her. She smiled and did the same. That was one of our weird teases we always did to each other ever since I was a kid. My dad never did it since he thought it was strange. It was fun sometimes because it brought of the fun side of my mom.

We all got out of the car and began to walk a smaller path. I looked around at the exotic trees. Some were gigantic while others were fairly large. The birds above chirped songs of joy. Almost as if they were welcoming me on my journey.

Finally after a bit of walking, we came to a big opening of a grassy field. My mother made a wand appear in her hand and gave it to me. I took it gently, but shakily since I wasn't used to the whole magic thing. My dad then began to explain how things work.

"The first thing to know about magic is that it doesn't control you," he said, "You control it. You never wanna have doubts in magic because that only makes it weaker. For example, your mother decides to make the wand disappear. With doubts, she'd make it turn to dust. We don't want dust."

I nodded eagerly to his speech. He showed me how to turn my wand into another object if there was ever a time I had to hide it. I found this useful if I was ever gonna carry it with me out into the human world.

"Now you try," he said.

I took a deep breath, "Ariuscarlo!"

The wand turned into a small notebook. That was unexpected, but I was smiling at my success. My dad and mom smiled as well. I felt that they were proud. Especially since I got it on the first try. It was very exciting.

My dad then walked up to me and gave me a notepad from out of no where. He then rested his hand on my shoulder and explained that I would need this for studying. Especially when it'd come in handy for memorization.

I ran up the steps of our apartment and back down them several times. My dad said it was to help training with strength since the school was quite large and my classes weren't guaranteed to be near each other most of the time. It was tiring, but I was managing.

"Yinjae," my mother called out, "You've got a letter from Miratackle!"

I jumped off the third step, ran to her, and then grabbed the letter. My eyes dazed upon the letter. I wasn't sure how to take it at first since it was new to me.

The letter had a yellow tint and black printing. Some words were in English, the school name, so I struggled a little. It had faint chrysanthemums in the back of the letter signifying it's difference.
